The internet connection has been unstable for the last several days. Even for regular ping requests I see dropouts.
Any estimate on when it will be fixed?
So, a quick recap, since the situation is the same for everyone, so there's no point in taking each comment one by one.
We apologize for the inconvenience and understand the frustration many are feeling.
I can assure you, however, that this isn't a scam or anything else, we're simply having some issues mitigating DDoS attacks against our infrastructure, which, according to our new upstream partner, GSL, are the most sophisticated they've seen in a long time.
These aren't small attacks, but something more. More information will follow in the coming hours and days.
A special thanks goes to @BackboneDirect , who is continuously helping us during these difficult days.
We're all doing our best to provide you with a stable and functioning service.
At the moment the alarm seems to have been partially dismissed and the servers are back online, but we won't be celebrating until the situation remains like this for at least a few days.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
First of all: DDoSsing a provider for whatever reason is just lame. Even if it's targeted at a site it hosts. Customers who have nothing to do with it are the main victims.
But @Deluxehost, it looks easy to focus on the attack in one response to all, while i see a broad number of complaints about many more issues. Just like i was complaining just before the attack happened.
Dont think you can put the blame only on the attack, you have much more problems to solve and those should have already been dealt with.
in fact they dont. at least at Z offer series servers still have a lot of connectivity and stability issues ongoing so far.
It's dead again
You're absolutely right, the problems were there before, and it's our responsibility to fix them.
Once this is over, our focus will shift.
We are already checking
In fact, I don't think anyone's server has been up and running in the last few days. It keeps saying "something's been fixed," but there's not a single client whose problems have disappeared.
This host is a joke. Now the VPS status = Stopped.
Boot -> The system failed to respond to the action request. Further attempts are likely to be cancelled until the system is responding normally. Try again in five minutes.
And according to their status page, all is of course fine.
The downtime or problems aren't recurring in the sense that they last for days without ever coming back online. If we receive a new attack, we simply patch it for a few minutes, and then the servers come back online.
Our partners do what they can, but they too say it's very complicated.
but honestly I think we're on the right track
So now it's DDoS ?
My server has been affected since June 6. Support said it was cooling system issues:

Operator
Hello,
I wanted to provide you with a quick update regarding the ongoing issue.
We identified an anomaly within the cooling system of one of our infrastructure racks, which caused some hardware to operate outside its normal temperature range. Our technicians have already completed the necessary corrective actions, and services are currently being restored.
At this time, everything is progressing as expected, and we anticipate full service restoration within approximately 20 minutes.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we complete the final stages of recovery. If you continue to experience any issues after the estimated restoration window, please let us know and we will investigate immediately.
Kind regards,
Matteo
Been 3 days with this instability in Z servers. Even at the time of this writings, my server is down. Sucks
At least stop selling so users don't buy and receive a broken server.
I've been their customer for over six months now. This is the first major outage during all this time.
The most important thing is that they are in touch and actively trying to solve the problem.
.
Why would anyone need to spend enormous resources on DDoSing a low-end hoster? Three days of a massive attack cost a huge amount of money. Most likely, it's just faulty equipment that they can't get to work properly, so they're making up the DDoS.
Never saw DDoS causing steal in a proper setup.

its misleading to have status page say all operational when we cant even reboot our vms.
The status page shows that everything is working fine so that future customers don't know what a mess it is
The same goes for the Discord forum, which has been deliberately disabled
I mean, if it was a hardware problem it would probably have been easier to fix, but that's not the point, lying makes no sense in this case, as our upstream also answered in this post, it's something we're working on but it requires technical time to resolve.
a series of bad luck and problems together are not a good mix unfortunately, we are aware of this, but everything will be explained
NICs in some nodes are currently overloaded so performance is obviously low and can create this
discord is already back from today
the status page should be fine, but it has some bugs that need to be fixed, because the categories show problems or monitoring, but not the plans inside
I will wait patiently
Does every VPS have VNC support?
PS, Out of Stock.
I'm not sure about that. Maybe using CheckMK is a good idea?
Oh - wait .. I'm using CheckMK for both services ... lucky one

I canceled my services month ago. Not processed since .. what - february?
Looks like there's some sort of a routing issue for IPv4...
Tested with traffic going "from" VM and host passing backbone.direct and from there it's stuck.
Executed from one of my VM's via VNC.
IPv6 seems up and running this time.
thanks for the report, let us check this.
