There is something seriously wrong with your routing in Finland. Domestic latency should not be 60 ms. Traffic should most def not be routed through Moscow.

Hi, done
Hi, done
We do not route traffic through specific cities, including Moscow. We do not control the global routing of internet traffic.
To better understand your situation, please send us a traceroute. One possible explanation is that RETN (our upstream provider) does not have local peering with your ISP, and the nearest peering point may be located in another country.
We have not received similar reports before, so at this point we are not able to confirm a network issue on our side. Please send us your traceroute results, and we will investigate further and get back to you with our findings.
Yes, it's a RETN issue. RETN is an exceptionally poor choice as an upstream in Finland. They have shit routing and fuck all peerings in Finland. 70% of all domestic traffic goes through Moscow or Stockholm. Latency is fucking unbelievable! It's lower latency to serve content from DE/NL!!!

That's 70% of the market right there. RETN has peering with only one Finnish carrier (Elisa).
RETN is the problem. The solution is to either dump RETN or add an upstream with proper peerings.
