The raw power of 3 9950x core with 1 GB RAM and 10 GB storage would be useless in my opinion. You'll hit RAM or storage limit much quicker than any of the cores reaching even a steady 50% usage.
So it renews at $12/year but you want $25 for them each with only 6 months left?

Well that's a "you" issue. people are willing to pay for that +2 extra vCores which is a great deal.
I'm able to run it perfectly with buffer, even with 1 GB of RAM, on Ubuntu 24 for my workload.
No idea why you guys be hating on DeluxHost or maybe you're just an inexperienced VPS user their support and system have been treating me well and reliably over the last 6-7 months especially at the renewal price Im paying.
This is where comprehension fail occurs when someone doesn't read carefully and falls in to confirmatory bias.
I am a user of deluxe host storage server and pretty happy with it. Moreover no where I wrote anything about quality of deluxehost.
What I wrote was, for cpu intensive apps, there are more probability of OOM kills or storage full error and hence 3 vcpu 9950x may not be used even to their 50% efficency.
Next time, please read, understand and then reply.
As a mere storage server user, I think you should keep your opinions to yourself given that you clearly don't know what linux ubuntu is capable of or how efficient it is. The most you have experienced is Windows Server and your tiny file explorer window

these things are probably barely worth the 12 bucks a year delux charges for them knowing how massively oversold they run their systems.

At least im not a loser like you overspending on VPS when we're on lowendtalk. Getting a good deal is all I needed. During these 6 months the 3 machines made me more than 100x what I paid for the yearly renewals. Heck even my electricity bills cost more than 12 EUR/Yr if I ran my PC 24/7/365
Clearly not something your 1 brain cell could comprehend. The value in the $25 USD is.. You get +2 extra vCores permanently. A W-5 plan (3 vCores) costs 52 EUR/Yr in renewal. For the same processing power. Your 1 brain cell couldn't see the value in it obviously.
