  LOL, sorry — while updating my post, I was also browsing their VPS plans and accidentally replied to the wrong post. 😂 i also try to check why my commet disappear. i even thought moderators had removed my comment. too silly. Sorry, I don’t use this platform very often. 😅

  Hello.

  My VPS is stopped and cannot boot.

  IPv4: 85.208.9.135

  When I press Boot, the task is cancelled with this error:

  "The system failed to respond to the action request. Further attempts are likely to be cancelled until the system is responding normally. Try again in five minutes."

  Please check the host node / hypervisor and start the VPS manually.
  Do not rebuild the server, please only boot/recover it.

  The VPS is shown as STOPPED, but Boot / Restart / Power Off actions are cancelled or do not work.

  VNC console shows a Linux kernel panic:
  "Kernel panic - not syncing"
  "systemd-journald.service: Main process exited, code=killed, status=6/ABRT"
  "journal corrupted or uncleanly shut down"

  Please perform a hard power cycle from the hypervisor/node side.
  If it still cannot boot, please boot the VPS into rescue mode so I can run fsck and repair the filesystem.

  Important: please do NOT rebuild, reinstall, or erase the server.
  Only hard reset / rescue boot / filesystem recovery.

  I was pretty OK with my DeluxHost VPS, but getting annoyed more and more by them (and they probably by me).

  • There are microdisconnects still happening.Not as many as before, but they still happen while another VPS using the same upstream provider don't
  • CPU Steal on average is around 10%, but sometimes higher during a longer period. You notice that
  • Ticket handling.. well.. they automatically close tickets when 72 hours no response. Doesn't matter if the last response was yours, not theirs. Also that notification states "Invoice Payment Confirmation" - which it ofcourse isn't.

  Please resolve this. PayPal payments weren't working on your website at first. I tried it for a couple of days, and finally paid with crypto today, but the activation button didn't appear. I only get information that the billing hasn't been paid. This isn't a serious approach. How can you not respond for six days?

  Can confirm, same on my ipv6 NL machine. DE machine is much more stable, around 1% cpu steal. Overall, these servers are okish for the price but ofc you cannot really use them for anything serious.
