I will know better end of Monday. I also think I actually had doubled my order of fumos over what I initially thought I did, which is a good sign. I'll likely close it off within the next ~48hrs and then anyone who donated is going to get optionality on something a little special in my next thread.

Unless I'm misinterpreting, @crunchbits is funding the cost of the dolls separately from donations. Money is going to Direct Relief directly, not through Crunchbits. So the cost of the dolls is unrelated.

I think he meant @crunchbits was using the dolls as a way to encourage donations to Direct Relief, like a fund raising event. But if it costs more than what people are donating, the it's more beneficial for Direct Relief if Crunchbits donate the cost of the dolls directly.
That's why it's on Giveaway section. If it's given for free, people would have made multiple account. He just raised the bar to $10

Yeah, but they already had the dolls it seems, and they sound like they may predate the rebranding thus why they’re branded “Crunchbits” and not “Syntek”. The money’s already sunk on the dolls.

Correct, I personally bought these last year. I'm a shitty marketer but it's more fun this way.
I thought about it @TimboJones but it's alright, at the core it is a lowend forum and I'd just prefer higher participation/accessibility. Just kind of a neat thing I wanted to do. Beats blowing it on google ads for a bot to click.
