    I have a few questions:

    1. Your TOS states that it's not permitted to use "excessive" traffic. Can it be clarified whether or not we can use the full 100 Mbps, i.e. an entire ~33 TB/month? Because in this post, you state:

@AvenaCloud said: No throttling, no hidden caps. Ideal for streaming, torrents, or backups.

    1. How much do your servers in Australia cost? Are they also 100 Mbps unmetered?

    2. You state that you have $50/month dedicated servers. Where are they? All I can find is €70/month.

    3. Finally, is there any way for me to get 1 vCPU, 1.5 GB RAM, and 5 GB storage? Or would I be stick using the tier with 2 GB RAM and 20 GB storage if I want any more than 1 GB RAM? I ask because you state:

AvenaCloud’s Custom VPS Hosting empowers you to tailor every aspect of your virtual private server—from CPU cores and RAM size to operating system and software stack. Our flexible approach lets you build an environment precisely suited to your application’s requirements, ensuring you only pay for what you actually use. Whether you’re hosting specialized frameworks, dev/test instances, or mission-critical workloads, our fully customizable VPS solutions give you the control and freedom you need to succeed.

  • Operate freely from Moldova. No content or IP takedowns.

I don't think it's accurate. Because it can still be manually paused due to content issues.

I think this post (and perhaps the entire site) are entirely AI-generated. For example, the site claims to sell OpenVZ, VMWare, and Hyper-V VPSes, but they all link to their KVM VPSes. They also advertise budget $50/month dedis, but link to their regular dedi page where the lowest price is €70/month. Apparently they also claim to have:

    • carbon neutral servers
    • geo-redundant server clusters
    • AI/ML-optimized servers
    • storage-optimized servers
    • ISO 27001 certified servers
    • servers for law firms requiring data confidentiality
    • video transcoding-optimized servers
    • servers with GPUs
    • hybrid HDD/SSD servers
    • 10 Gbps servers
    • overclocked servers (despite advertising a CPU with a locked multiplier)
    • servers in India, Singapore, Japan, Australia, Canada, and South America
    • 99.99% SLA guaranteed servers (despite their TOS only stating 99.9%)

All of which link to their standard dedicated server tiers.

This could get them banned from LET if people purchase a server based on their advertising and turn out to have gotten scammed. For example, they advertise encrypted, confidential servers. I'm tempted to buy a number of them because I would love a server with TEE, but if it turns out that it was a lie, I'd expect a full refund.

They also state on their website that they are selling fully managed VPSes for €2.80/month.

My ticket was handled pretty quickly. One within 3 hours, one within 25 mins, one within 2 hours. That was back in 2024. Also, the VPS is super stable.

I hope @AvenaCloud can chime in and explain what is up with the false information on their website. Making claims about specific security compliance, confidential computing, geo-redundancy, literal carbon neutral datacenters, and hypervisor technologies you do not use is pretty serious. If it's just a template put up for a new website, we should know that and it should be changed so that it does not fall afoul of false advertising rules.

    Hello everyone,
First of all, I want to clarify the matter with the 10% discount, so we considered that 10% for just one month is enough because the rest of the months already come with a discount, from the system, only the 3-month period has a 4% discount, then for 6 months 12% and for 12 months 20% and that is the reason.

Now with what you see on the site, namely the menu for VPS and Dedicated Servers. Many who know us, that we have not been on LET for a year and everyone knows, because previously the site menu was the east of sadness, with very few services. We worked very intensively to create this site and in parallel another team is in charge of analyzing and creating the logistics to be able to propose all these services. Yes, indeed the site template was massive but depending on what we will be able to propose and what is on the site has some divergences and depending on what we will be able to really offer, we will do a recap and we will clean up the menu items in accordance with the real services. Considering that we are a fairly small team, we work intensively not only on creating logistics links and developing the site but also working with clients, maintaining the servers and the entire data center. I can tell you that this is not easy at all.

Let's get back to our offer.
We have clearly written here that we offer virtual servers with KVM virtualization and their price, respectively. That is what we specifically offer here, on this platform. We are not discussing here what kind of dedicated servers we have and what points the site has (as I mentioned before, the site is under construction), we are discussing here the advantages or disadvantages and everything related specifically to these VPSs that we offer in this offer.

    Thank you for your understanding.
    Respectfully,
    AvenaCloud Team

  • AvenaCloud’s VPS is quite stable, but the price‑performance ratio is only average. The network tops out at 100 Mbps, and the IP addresses are not friendly — Google often identifies them as being from Russia or Iran. If you plan to use it for a VPN and need a friendly IP, it’s not recommended.

  • @AvenaCloud Thank you for replying! I'd like to ask: Are you a reseller, or do you own the hardware?

100 Mbps is pretty average, but 100 Mbps unmetered is not too shabby for the price.

It's in the same datacenter Trabia is in, right? I know you peer with them, and I get <0.8ms ping to your LG from my Trabia VPS. Do you allow Tor exit nodes? Because Trabia does allow them.

Do you allow Tor exit nodes? Because Trabia does allow them.

Unfortunately, we cannot allow TOR exit nodes, as this is prohibited by Moldovan law and we risk being disconnected from upstream providers if we allow TOR as an exit node.

Interesting. What law is that? Moldova is quite popular for Tor exits.

I've got similar experience with @AvenaCloud . I bought a small 1c1g VPS from them over a year ago (it was a bit cheaper back then). At first I also got an IP from their range located in russia that was also blocked by some of networks I used at the time. However the support was kind enough to change it for free.

Since then the VPS has been running fine, no outages. The network was also fine, there were months were I averaged 40mbps (combined in+out) on it and this was never an problem with them. The only issue I got was that the disk IO got terribly slow at some point:

    (nsfw)

fio Disk Speed Tests (Mixed R/W 50/50) (Partition /dev/sda1):
    ---------------------------------
    Block Size | 4k (IOPS) | 64k (IOPS)
      ------ | --- ---- | ---- ----
    Read | 2.02 MB/s (506) | 1.88 MB/s (29)
    Write | 2.04 MB/s (511) | 2.05 MB/s (32)
    Total | 4.06 MB/s (1.0k) | 3.93 MB/s (61)
               | |
    Block Size | 512k (IOPS) | 1m (IOPS)
      ------ | --- ---- | ---- ----
    Read | 1.85 MB/s (3) | 1.77 MB/s (1)
    Write | 2.05 MB/s (4) | 2.05 MB/s (2)
    Total | 3.90 MB/s (7) | 3.82 MB/s (3)

I opened a ticket in December, had to bump it a few weeks after but the IO was improved and it's now around 15x better than before. Certainly not SSD speeds but it's usable for me. I posted nodequality benchmark to Nodeseek shortly after that was fixed in case anyone is interested.

Mine was a bit different plan so the specs may vary. In general i'm pretty happy with @AvenaCloud .
Probably the best ones you can get for this price in Moldova location :)

Yea, but I'm not sure if this is still the same plan and I don't wanna deceive anyone so maybe @AvenaCloud could provide yabs of those plans?

in case you want it anyway:

excluded disk benchmark and the disk size is not accurate since i do custom partitioning

It's normal that you won't get the exact maximum. That's what the virtual port is limited to on that plan. I suppose if you pay for a higher tier, you could get a full 1 Gbps virtual port. But ~98 Mbps from Moldova to London on a 100 Mbps port is good.

    Dear clients,

We would like to provide an update regarding the current situation:

The issue with the upstream provider has been successfully resolved. At the moment, all IP addresses are being properly announced and services are operating normally.
Unfortunately, the company owner is currently hospitalized and is not able to provide the necessary access at this time, which limits our ability to fully process all client tickets and requests. As soon as his condition improves and access is restored, we will immediately proceed with resolving all pending matters.

We would like to clearly assure you that there is no fraud or deception involved. All your data remains safe and secure.

In the meantime, we will continue to support you within our capabilities and assist as much as possible, as well as support the company owner until he fully recovers and returns to work.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

    Best regards,
    AlexHost Team
