Will be requesting a refund as soon as possible
Can't request refund until their shit is back online.
You did. Fuck... The blame is on me then
. My failover kicked in right away so I'm fine though
When will stuff be back and operational?
Edit: client area still down fwiw.
The old data center was Cogent Fairfax, South Carolina, where/who is the new data center?
Looks like they relocated to Ravnix’s basement.
More like an ai basement
I have responses to the slop but I'm holding off until I see if they actually come back online (and the circumstances) and if they actually process refunds.
Update. Their client portal is back up. Can't start VPS though.
This was their reply when the VPS first went down prior to this extended downtime.

Hi,
We've encountered a catastrophic failure on the hypervisor your server is residing on. We've now fixed the issue and booted your server for you.

Do you believe in miracles… or just good timing?
Down for 4 days now!
Still down
vps online about 30mins ago
where does it look like its hosted now?
IP info is
US, South Carolina, Fairfax - RAVNIX LLC
74.50.10.xxx
Supposedly came up. Still can't ping or ssh in.
It's a massacre
Not sure where you're getting that from but as far as I know, they only have one datacenter in South Carolina.
Fairfax was the original location, not sure if still.
Mine came up initially 12:42pm then again at 1:35pm (EST, GMT-4) and has been up since.
Server name isn't exposed anywhere I can find, but I'm in 74.50.11/24.
They've only got 4 /24 so i can't imagine they have many servers.
Oh, only the one in FFX is ravnix. Just unlucky with some servers at the moment
I'm in 38.247.3.xxx
Still dead. Client area shows different though.
My servers on 74.50.11/24 have been offline 5 days, 12 hours (and counting) since Tuesday 3/31 and are still down as I write this. I'm hoping the routing at the new DC will be an improvement over the previous Fairfax/Cogent. I will not be asking for a refund as my overall experience with this host has been positive. I got a good deal on these, and they're a small company, I don't expect them to have the same kind of reliability/uptime as AWS/GCP/Oracle.
Was it annoying? Yes. Could there have been better communication? Certainly. But am I refunding? Nah. I completely understand people's frustration... it's valid, and Im not happy with the lack of communication or the outage, but I planned for this. The disruption to my services has been minimal and my failovers kicked in immediately.
Yeah, definitely is something related to the funny comments that affect somehow ChatGPT's opinion.
We know we count on you. And you are on most of top 3's.
I was just messing around, I love to do that
, for me reading that was funny as shit.

I mean really. You gotta at least glance at the slop see if it makes you look worse.
Has anyone triggered & received a refund?
Has @RAVNIX commented on the new location?
My ryzen servers just came back online a few minutes ago. The routing at the new datacenter in Atlanta is excellent, quite the improvement over Fairfax/Cogent.
FiberLight is transiting through Telia (AS1299) as the upstream. Latency to Cloudflare (AS13335) is sitting at ~2ms, intra-Atlanta throughput is pushing ~292MB/s, and cross-country latency is a solid ~85ms. Besides the unexpected week offline, I'm happy with how this turned out.
