Hello, I would like to ask you to consider a problem that has been going on for several months now and has not been resolved by support. I bought a server from you, and after a while problems began: the server began to crash very often - once every 1-2 days. And I can’t start it from the panel, it stops turning on altogether. In order for it to turn on and work for at least a day, I need to completely reinstall it. In this case, he will live 1-1.5 days, no more. I wrote to support with this problem, and support told me that the problem was network and related to someone’s external upstream. I haven't laughed at answers like this in so long. we will review it again internally to better understand what’s happening on your VM.
That said, we’d like to clarify one point, the last response you received from support regarding a possible network-related issue was not incorrect. It’s possible that at that specific moment there was an upstream or connectivity event affecting your instance, so that explanation was based on real conditions at the time.
However, we absolutely agree that the behavior you’re describing (frequent crashes every 1–2 days or even more often) is not expected and deserves deeper investigation. At the same time, we are not observing similar patterns or instability on the host nodes, which makes this case more specific to your instance rather than a general infrastructure issue.
This is also the first time I’ve seen something like this, and the situation was so unusual. I hope I will get an answer on this very soon, thanks for the answer
Deluxhost has probably the worst user experience I have ever come across from a vps provider. I bought a server, and after sometime the speed got throttled to 100mpbs and even less. I complained about it and they noted excess bandwidth usage which I understood and acknowledged. Later they said they had restored the normal network speed. This has turned out to be a blatant lie. The speed is so bad, the server itslef has become so slow. I/O speeds barely rise above 30. Typing 'ls' literally lags. Like listing files lags. It's honestly so pathetic.
To complicate matters, I got another server from them which was supposed to be a better one with AMD ryzen. I have not been able to get networking to work at all on the server. I intended to use it as a proxy but once the proxy is set up you cannot access the internet through it. Opened tickets for both issues and response times were horrible. For about 2 weeks or more it was constant back and forth without any meaningful response. Today they responded that nothing is wrong with the server.
I think before you decide to purchase anything from these guys, ensure you are ready to lose your money. From what I can tell it is a gamble. Your server may work fine or not but if you're unfortunate enough to get a bad server, you can forget about getting a resolution - in time or even at all.
Hi, I don't think there's much to say. If you pass our FUP (Really Hard Thing), you deserve to be limited. We offer cheap servers with more than decent quality.
As you can see, few people actually complain, We are not a scam, nor is buying a server from us a gamble, Most of our customers are satisfied with their deal with us.
If support told you nothing from us is needed, that's probably true, but If you have anything else, you can give me your ticket ID and I can look into it.
I think everything is solvable, and i think that what you wrote is the result of frustration with customer service rather than the service itself.
Agree. In my brief time in VPS land it’s been the worst experience I’ve had. My ticket has gone unanswered for 5 days regarding incorrect resources allocated. They also don’t seem to honor the free bonus offered in the thread. Not sure if they’re understaffed or intentionally bait and switching.
Hello, Honestly I think you're simply exaggerating. Calling it "the worst service I've ever had", based on this, i think doesn't make any sense, but obviously everyone is free to think what they want.
If the freebies haven't been delivered, it's probably because you've been passed over. Open a ticket and it will be given to you.
Most tickets are resolved without issue, but there can certainly be delays, more or less due to our fault.

It's not exaggerating if it's true. I don't see any replies on the last few pages confirming you've applied bonuses to anyone.
Freebies aside- no other provider has given me the wrong resources, then ignored tickets about it.
My "NVMe" storage is the wrong size, and is operating at a blazing fast 30-50MB/s.

Price: unbeatable, you won’t find this price anywhere, atleast I haven’t
Experience: yes there are some issues and have noticed downtimes a few times, I think I have seen about 1-2 downtimes a month but lately it’s getting much better.
Overall for this price point I think the service is reasonable but not excellent. I would personally pay slightly more for stability. I think the price point of NovaCloud like recent offers is acceptable with good stability.
FYI to others: after this interaction they closed my ticket without answering it. Still have the incorrect space and speed NVMe storage (false advertising) and no bonus from the thread.

After a few days, my VPS went down again without any apparent reason. When I checked the control panel, nothing was showing (I have attached a screenshot for reference).
I had to manually restart the VPS to bring it back online.
I would like to ask if there is anything I can do to prevent this from happening again.

For the 8hrs downtime, It was actually a datacenter issue. Nothing on DeluxHost's end. I had another server from another hosting company in that same datacenter and it faced the same kind of outage. I hope they tell us more about what exactly happened cause 8 hours downtime is a lot.
