Why not?
checkin in hugs
I am new management. Hi.
ohai, here's $8/m.
Sorry, it’s now $16/month
Shit, I think my 120 day chargeback window might be up. Oh well.
Was it a bit like this?
Cheers!
typical veloxmedia review. Users are paying $2, $4, $8 or whatever the veloxmedia extortion fee Eric thinks to be applied on case-by-case basis and then veloxmedia.co.uk either takes down the vps or its unreachable and no tickets are answered. Eric might be busy working on some mathematical calculation regarding how to mint more money from innocent buyers.
Really if you're still trying to be his customer you probably deserve a good milking.
March now. Still alive.
My 2 servers are still running
Eric is probably on holidays.
The plan must be starting sale when nobody cares about this post anymore. So the spring sale is coming soon.
In nodeseek? Or eric start selling on reddit?
No, ofcourse to the current customer base to milk them more.
Are they still going?
It's the cow that keeps on giving.
How much cash?
i wish there was some way to tie this into the kyc and stored plaintext pw minidramas.
For starter, @VeloxMedia didn't do some KYC? @xHosts terminate user account who failed KYC. Then, there's providers would throw their users out including any active service if they made a charge back.
From what I read, the pw is stored "encrypted", as some people who are not ready for unmanaged service demand password login. IMHO, it's a single point of failure
They never KYCed me. In fact, when my order was flagged as fraud, Lewis offered to manually push it through.
Thanks for reminding me again... Got bored with Velox tbh.
They can't have much active clients after they forced people into ridiculously priced monthly plans so...
Something still doesn't add up. Time will tell.
I do think it's their plan for a way out though... Users jump ship, suckers stay around, people forget, they continue.
I must admit that Charityhost is selling and doing a good job on nodeseek.com. At least their business is still running well. But for Veloxmedia, there is no way coming to nodeseek.com. Too many servers were forced to be terminated and that harmed MJJ.
What are the MJJs saying about VeloxMedia?
Lots of them will just jump onboard again when there would be cheap/unsustainable offers. Don't know if they come, but if they do, lots of people are short of memory.
No new posts about Veloxmedia for weeks. People are starting to forget about this chaos.
A large number of them did PayPal dispute at once after the change of management team. But there is still someone (mainly paid with credit card) left keeps using the server now.
Correct. If Veloxmedia pops up on nodeseek.com and starts offering $7 / year VPS, it will definitely sell out.
I mean as long as they get $7 worth of service out of it, there's no real harm right? Fuck it.
