    Dear xxx,

Firstly, thank you for using GreenCloud services. Secondly, we would like to inform you that we are planning to relocate our rack in Frankfurt, DE datacenter to a new facility (MK Netzdienste Datacenter) as part of an upcoming infrastructure adjustment.

The tentative migration date is February 23rd, 2026. The exact start time will be announced in advance via our Network Status page and by email approximately 1–2 days before the maintenance.

    Maintenance Details:

Date & Time: Around February 23rd, 2026 (exact time to be announced)
    Expected Downtime: Approximately 2–3 hours
Reason: Datacenter pricing adjustments (cabinet, power, and cross-connect)
Impact: No changes to your IP address or data
Affected VPS IP: xxxx - 109.zzz.zzz.zzz
    Affected Nodes: DEDellEPYC1, 10GKVMDE1
    Migration Plan:

To minimize service disruption, our team will prepare the new rack and network switches in advance and migrate 3–4 servers simultaneously during the maintenance window.

As part of this upgrade, we will also be upgrading the uplink capacity of our switch to 40Gbps to improve network performance and reliability.

We will provide further updates with the exact maintenance time soon.

Thank you very much for your understanding and continued support.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our support team.

    Sincerely,

    The GreenCloud Team.

I like how they are very upfront about reasonDatacenter pricing adjustments this feels trully LowEndTalk

Also got that e-mail twice: once with 'per node', once with 'per VPS'. One looks like sent from PHPMailer, second from billing (WHMCS?) panel - different domains... however both are sent via Amazon SES so no idea what was the point of that(?)

To be transparent, we are still losing money in EU since the start of the war in Ukraine in 2022. Our current DC (FirstColo) is increasing prices across the board, seemingly shifting its focus toward AI clients. So we are moving to a new DC under a long-term contract. The new facility is located just 20km from our current site, and we will have the racks and network fully online before the migration to ensure minimal downtime.

Please have a backup plan ;-)

Lift and shift migrations are risky, even with only 20km. Been there, done that.

Esp. if a disk in a raid array fails, please allow for taking out data before trying a rebuild and risk losing more data.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions. The migration tasks will be handled by professionals. In addition, we offer free offsite backups with every VirtFusion plan, which can be managed and restored by clients whenever needed.

Have you try turning on EFI boot and init-cloud off before attaching ISO? At least that's what worked for me in SaiGon location. Other locations can attach the same ISO without those steps for whatever reason!?

Yea, thank you, tried kinda everything before submitting a ticket, and then found out that its a known issue. Other locations are indeed working fine with ISO (don't have VN server tho)

Please try to change the BIOS settings as suggested or use a direct URLs from own server instead of the distro's official site that might fix the issue.

    Not anytime soon I'm afraid.

How do I add credit on the customer panel? I thought I see the option to do so before 🤔

You can open a ticket to Sales/Billing to have the ad-funds invoices generated.

Just tried again, switching between UEFI/Bios doesn't help. I also used my private direct links to ISOs from multiple locations. ISOs are always successfully complete the pre-install verification check, but skipping verification doesn't help either, just a faster failure.
At this point I just gave up and used one of the pre-loaded images.

    Major Infrastructure & Development Updates

    1. Website Redesign: Our new website will be launching soon! It features a unified design that matches our Client Area for a seamless user experience. We are currently in the final review stage to ensure everything works perfectly. Here is a sneak peek of our new homepage:

    2. VirtFusion Migration: We are making significant progress in migrating from SolusVM to VirtFusion. Our team has already manually migrated roughly 7,000 VMs - a task requiring extensive resources and precision. The remaining VMs will be moved in phases, you will receive a notification email with a specific timeframe once your node is scheduled for migration. Because of these factors, we don’t anticipate any major sales in the coming months. If you are currently using a promotional plan, we recommend keeping it active, as we won't be offering lower rates in the near future.

    3. In-house OpenStack Control Panel: We have completed the build of our custom OpenStack control panel. Before public release, we are conducting security audits and will soon offer beta access to testers. This panel will introduce advanced features including HA, CEPH storage, and integrated Firewalls. While skyrocketing hardware costs have slightly delayed our timeline, we are working hard to go live in our first locations: Los Angeles, Tokyo, or Singapore.

Already done, but after support wasted almost two hours of my time, they told me they won't fix it for another two or three days...

Unfortunately, VirtFusion plans will remain as they are. We don't have the final pricing models for OpenStack plans yet, but please note they will be at a higher price point.

Noticed that the cpuid on my VPS (VirtFusion UK) has changed (probably a week ago when there was an unexpected reboot) - main thing that has changed was that "SVM" was no longer made available. Opened a ticket and support quickly re-enabled SVM, but didn't provide any explanation.
