Pour one out for Andrew.
Probably...
Last time online by @itsTomHarper can't be a coincidence either.
@angstrom @DP
I ask you again to look into @itsTomHarper harper. He either clarifies his situation or he remains silent and you ban him.
He's been promoting the Velox scam... Its not too much to ask.
If no clarity given, an aged alt (?) account remains active ready to be used in future scams.
Fwiw.. Accounts like this are worth good money to the right wrong kind of people.
I agree. He has been logging in consistently, but hasn't made any comments. He was involved in this, and for all we know, he still is. Do we know who he actually is? Might as well ban him.
Why do you say he's involved? I don't know any of the details, but couldn't it just be that he doesn't want to talk because he doesn't want to admit that he was defending VeloxMedia after what happened?
Could be... Maybe he's innocent. I'd expect him to speak up and distance himself from Velox though.
If not...
There's a lot of issues keeping an account like that alive, as per my previous post.
I don't think there is. While it's certainly conceivable that he is involved, it's a bit of a stretch to say that someone who was a vocal supporter of the company is formally involved with the company with the sole evidence being that they are watching, but not participating in, the discussion of said company's behavior.
Vocal supporter? He was working for them. Look at his comment history. He was the one pushing deals hard during Black Friday.
I wasn't aware of that. He's an employee, not just a fan/shill?
Lewis himself stated that VeloxMedia was Tom and him, so the link is pretty clear

He had Host Rep tag and was actively offering Velox's offers to people on LET.
Oh, fair enough.
Mine was labeled as LET and is still running and I got banned from their client portal and he told me I should chargeback. Looks like he's incompetent and has lost track of things.
Another week, another identity
You care about facts and reality and yet it seems as if you are a fanboy or defending veloxmedia. If anyone can say something professional and objective about scams, then thats me, and veloxmedia is giving me some serious competition when it comes to scams.
Can you do triple space?
I sent a DM to @itsTomHarper earlier today, and this is his reply (which I quote with his permission):
For the record, I consider his reply to be truthful. (And yes, he's a different person from Lewis)
At the same time, I find it unfortunate that he didn't post such a clarification earlier publicly, because if he had done so, his role would have appeared less suspicious/questionable than it appeared in the end to everyone (given that he didn't post such a clarification earlier)
Do you mean because of ip or verified further? Not a big deal just curious.
As a mod, you might accept this response and decide not to ban him, that's your right and responsibility. As a user, that response is wholly unacceptable. Even if he is completely innocent and made the offers without malice, he should have enough integrity to engage with the people that he helped scam and answer their questions and explain what he knows, how he was connected, and anything else they want to know.
Ask for proof where he told Lewis he was stepping away.
As a sales assistant, he hit the jackpot with the BF sales he did, got his commission and moved away before ship sinks.
So when he was doing all the wheelspin bullshit, he already decided that he was leaving.
Such a good guy.
@itsTomHarper I doubt anyone will be happy to see you again on LET as a Host rep for any company.
I understand that people were and still are frustrated by @itsTomHarper 's silence, but if he's telling the truth (as I think that he is), then he didn't break any forum rule that would justify a ban (unlike @VeloxMedia )
In a way, @itsTomHarper has paid a price for his silence because he's caused damage to his reputation here and he's effectively lost his forum friends as a result. (As I recall, he was once quite popular here)
I'm afraid that the mods/admins of LET don't have the resources to investigate the case of @itsTomHarper -- his precise actions and the timeline -- further, so unless some new (revealing) piece of evidence comes to light, we (= the mods/admins of LET) are inclined to drop the case of @itsTomHarper and to move on (even if this conclusion won't please everyone)
@angstrom, ask him his commission. This is half year before auzzhost went default. He's looking for host rep too
https://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=948607
Who would give 45% commission?
I added "veloxed" to Urban Dictionary.
He was selling their services. Like, an employee. Why not ask what happened?
Edit: sorry, people explained already.
I wonder whats the reason given, to remove rep tag @angstrom
Sure, LET special, as long as it's crypto.
Thank you @angstrom ! Really appreciate you taking the effort.
@itsTomHarper I wish you well.
Such a shame... Like I said... Why not distance himself from Velox? Even if not true, it'd have saved his reputation.
That being said, I appreciate you took the time to investigate although I'm still not 100% assured. Lots of 'coincidental' things happening.z
Coz he don't have the courage to speak on this forum.
Another example and for mild reason @hennaboy. Roughly 2 weeks since his last post, last seen 29 Jan 22.34 GMT
