Can't wait either. Gonna be good fun to watch @itsTomHarper being exposed.
Tom = Lewis. Had it confirmed.
Unfortunately can't share for privacy reasons... But we'll get there
That is gold. When I was working on the iOS app and needed WHCMS keys to use in the app + temporary IP whitelisting, Lewis told me he was going to have me talk to the person that basically runs security for the company in order to get that stuff completed.
Guess who the security guy was? Tom Harper.
Huh, all you did on LET was hating on people that got scammed/their data taken illegally. Every single message, except one comment where you bought one of the cheapest deals, I have ever seen and talk like no one here has no money, when it looks like it's you.
Dunno why even bother to post messages here, ignore the thread and live a peaceful life, enyoing great deals here
Lol, Lewis has always been full of shit.
Would share but don't wanna give him any ideas.
Which kinda is like... @itsTomHarper behaviour... Just saying...
Yes, of course,no email from them.
Same. Still charging me more so better login and check what's going on.
I just called my PP. They didn't receive a refund, although @VeloxMedia do state it's refunded.
Again, fraud.
I did login and found no change.
I can't be 100% certain of course until jan. 15 has passed but my guess still is what it was all the time: Eric did have good intentions (and yes I saw clear indicators) but due to the witch hunt and the toxicity here came to the conclusion to cancel some/a lot(?) of the VPSs sold here or at least those that were below @VeloxMedia's cost, like e.g. €/$/pounds 4/yr. like yours.
I'll let you know the state of my service once jan. 15 has passed.
I'm requesting for @itsTomHarper to be banned unless he comes over and explains himself.
@angstrom @DP
So how do you feel about him making up orders and trying to charge saved payment methods?
What the actual fuck is happening. Just came back from work and* Lewis is charging cards?
I'm sorry, but it can only be a mental illness.
You actually work? Respect @OrangeDino !
got a DL380 G9 as well, might ask @VeloxMedia for colo
Just dm @itsTomHarper , he'll hook you up!
Chargeback requested on Revolut, provided email as evidence, give them order IDs and after few hours refunded. Services cancelled.
Good riddance.
Female Breast Inspector.
VeloxMedia wants to charge accounts.
Customers start to charge back.
VeloxMedia deletes accounts.
Customers review badly in attack.
What a circus!
It's inevitable.
If only he listened and annulled the transfer. In short, it's a waste of everyone's time.
That's a crime.

I'm sorry to disappoint, but based on what I found, they appear to be two separate individuals. And for what it's worth, Tom Harper isn't his real name
Even so, I still think we should hear from @itsTomHarper as he was the one selling aggresively during BF and has not said a word since then.
Yeah, LET lemmings... It's still up to you. Everyone can decide for themselves if and when they do chargeback. If you don't, it's up to you. I didn't do it yet either - my VPS is still running OK. But I'm pretty sure some moment in the near future I'll get an e-mail stating that he wants me to pay again, and I won't be doing that. I still have a bit of time to go before my chargeback window closes, and even then it's my own decision if I consider the money already paid a loss or not.
What you should keep in mind though is that not everybody is like you. Not everybody has a "fine running VPS" or is comfortable with the situation (i.e. their $4 is weighing in a lot more in their financial situation as yours may be). LET isn't here to be a gathering to "witch hunt" or "act like lemmings", LET is here to share offers and experiences in this part of the hosting market.
And just as with hosters there will be a bad rotten apples in the basket; with hosters VeloxMedia is a clear one, but with users it can also be people who chargeback while they just want to do that and still have a service. In general though, most people chargeback because they otherwise loose the service they've paid their hard earned cash for.
I'll keep on saying: in the beginning I was also in the "it's still working, things will turn out OK" camp. But behaviour of the hoster changed my opinion about that. Everybody as an individual (so not a lemming) has to make that decision - if you're OK by what is happening, go with it. But LET is here to all things: point to opportunities (offers), praise hosters who are doing things right and warn about things that are going wrong. And that's what we're doing with VeloxHost.
LowEndTalk owner should drop $4 for this in everyone's account for dedicating their time to expose veloxmedia

That's your opinion. I can only speak for myself but I just hate people being scammed. Don't care about my own money, when it's gone it's gone, but in general I love the LET community and disapprove (to say it mildly) of people of that community taken advantage of in a manner that VeloxMedia did/is doing. And I don't care if it's for $2, $20 or $200. $200 for a friend of mine is peanuts and the tip he gives with a happymeal, while for another friend of mine $2 is one week of food.
You're generalizing here "nobody". That you won't do it doesn't mean others won't.
Again, generalizing. If tomorrow I'll put up an "offer" of which I got from VeloxMedia early October (so way before the BF crazyness) people will jump upon it and say it's a descent and good offer that could be profitable. So I don't see I "jumped the gun", I had a proper start, had a good race but haven't set a result since the judges decided that the moment I've started they would stop the timing and go home. And I'm not the only one here.
Calling people out is not my style. I can understand people are doing that because of things that happened in the past (providers who scammed turning up in alt accounts), but until it's fully proven it's not my thing.
But apparantly it's your style to call out and generalize people.
You can believe and think whatever you want. My conclusions are different. I've witnessed this thing from the start, and you saw it escalating. The escalation was definitely not full on the account of visitors here, but quite a big part of it was due to how "Eric" communicated. Maybe I should put that last word between quotes also.
At first questions where asked and advice was given, but he simply had an air of "I know better". If then it turns out that, on Boxing day, you sent a "legal" and threathening mail to this forum (legal between brackets because my judgement is that it's a ChatGPT or badly created collection of terms that a real lawyer wouldn't use), you have me really against you.
Ofcourse, legally the whole transaction (from the point of view of "Eric") can be legal, but tell me, we're over 3 weeks after that, did you receive a message - as a previous customer of "Lewis" - that your VPS is currently running with a new owner from another country? Do you think that's right? Does it make sense that someone "takes over" a "company" and it's assets without the thing that could make money (customers - but in the meanwhile has control over those people's data and services, declare that he has no obligations against them, aren't his customers but then approaches them saying "if you want to continue pay me" and thus using the customer data (while declared not part of the deal)) - and after that migrating away from those assetts? The whole story about Lewis being part of the transition, then not, and then mentioned "for legal reasons" in the ToS and then suddenly removed again?
It could all be right in their own right; as a whole it stinks. Badly. But again, could still be good fish - but I won't buy it. If you want, go ahead. You could end up with a delicious meal or one you become really sick from.
you wont believe it, the page actually works
