What a way to enter page 115.
Please kindly let us know on which ones! (sincere, no sarcasm)
Right now any product in our system that says LET on it is getting terminated with a 7 day notice. So you can check your account to see if you're has that.
We already allocated all these servers plus just brought our own purchased hardware which is 4x what lewis had combined. So tons and tons of deals about to flood other sites and current customers.
Gotta figure out how to use that giveaway bot on our discord and some other promo software
Does this mean that any product that literally has the string "LET" in the name will be terminated?
Yes
Uh-uh
New deadpool coming in 3, 2, 1....
What I don't get is why purchase a toxic brand. Normally people buy an existing business when they like the business model (not the case here) or they find the brand valuable. But, given you're burning bridges with everyone on LET - at least those who fell for the initial scam - you lose the Goodwill (in the accounting sense) of the brand as well. You'd be in a better place starting with new hardware under a new name.
I hope you stop bragging; you're not welcome here. Go brag or sell on other websites and see how many more people you can fool.
You're just going on and on here to get more traffic from LET; it's utterly shameless.
But products that do not have that string will not be terminated just because they were purchased by someone who has a LET account, correct? I only made my account a few days ago anyway, but had a service with VeloxMedia for over a month.
VeloxMedia's exit scam from LET
as I said earlier its a VeloxMedia.co.uk exit scam.
good luck with it. We don't want to deal with moron owners who run Velox Media.
Correct just the ones that say LET in the name
Well, it looks like mine isn't getting terminated then. But I'm still not at all happy about the way this played out, and you should really consider rethinking what you are doing, since these are people who could otherwise have become recurring customers, if things had settled down.
Hell, there was even a guy who was working on an iOS app or something who would have been a valuable customer who is now effectively exiled.
The low-end hosting world is a small world and word travels fast. Even non-English speaking communities are going to have some overlap with members here, and chances are you won't be able to find anywhere that lets you in. LET is the largest community of its kind, as far as I'm aware.
Even if you have the best infrastructure, losing LET is a significant loss of income. You really should be careful about alienating these communities.
That's not what VeloxMedia wanted. Do you not get it yet? This is LET.
Since you are new and very naive I will help you by telling you exactly what to expect from my time being here (and this can also be validated by veterans).
Since VeloxMedia enjoys getting a kick and the attention... and is now terminating anything with LET in it... prepare the popcorn and more new accounts joining the forum, finding this thread and going "what the fuck?!"
Also since SEO is doing it's fine work...

Anyone who does a google search for "VeloxMedia" which is going to be a lot of people... cause you should do some research into who are about to pay money to, are going to find this thread and maybe those deals won't be so hot.
I'm just here for the entertainment. Are you not having fun?
I figured that was going to happen, but it doesn't stop me from having hope that he'll turn around. Or having had hope, at least. It, along with giving benefit of the doubt, has run out.
My account is new but I've been a passive lurker for years. I just hope Eric knows that these communities are vigilant enough that even changing the company name will not go over people's heads, because people will find out and warn others in every promo thread "this is VeloxMedia under another name, avoid them".
That is on you but personally I would not think this way so you aren't disappointed, however I would educate yourself and maybe have a bit of a think if this is a provider you want to financially support, after LET provided VERY GOOD constructive feedback and was some what willing to give advice... until VeloxMedia decided it wanted to fuck around and find out.
I have services with over 30 different providers, most of whom I trust. The only situation in which I would pay more to VeloxMedia is if I was confident that an event like this would not happen again.
Even the providers I use who are a little sketchier and can't even be trusted to take care of $22k worth of fruits and vegetables are more trustworthy, at this point.
Then why wouldn't these people pop tickets to cancel service when we kept asking? No one would?
Because they'd need to go through their bank since you wouldn't refund them, I suppose.
Oh fun fact...
My credit card(AND debit card!) via my own bank gives me more than 30 days to chargeback someone.
Sometimes it pays to have a really good bank.
Amex allows charge back like forever apparently. I think PayPal is 6 months
It is recommended that @VeloxMedia which has lost trust, be permanently banned from Lowendtalk
@FAT32
I will after I'm done teaching you how to properly spell the phrase "legal counsel".
See you next time I feed the poor in Appalachia.
Then what would y'all talk about?
I don't know what you all (how many of you are real customers?) are making a fuss about. Do you want to shut down everyone's servers? I didn't buy the VPS during BF, it's been over 30 days now, I just want it to run until the end of the term.
it will not run beyond January 15th, 2026 (according to veloxmedia's email)
either pay additional extortion feee of $4/mo from now to keep it alive
or chargeback as everyone of us did.
Do you really believe this “Eric” from the random “Benthost” has the capability to invest $12 million and maintain your service?
Only let products. Everyone else's will run fine
Considering I've been paying to keep it running for free this past month without issue. What makes you think I wouldn't be able to?
I posted some pics of one of our DCs on our discord when I was there the other day.
