Just saying it's not particularly a hard process to register a business in the US, and that's coming from a non-US citizen
RIPE gave me more shit trying to get an ASN using the company compared to the SOS of New Mexico cared about me registering a business purely for shitposting
Here are two templates you can use. The first is for individuals to send to payment providers (to get money back), and the second is a formal report to be submitted to UK regulators.
Option 1: Dispute/Chargeback Letter (For PayPal, Stripe, or Banks)
Purpose: To get an immediate refund for services not rendered.
Subject: Formal Dispute: Services Not Rendered and Breach of Contract - [Your Order Number]
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to formally dispute a transaction made on [Date] for the amount of [Amount] to VeloxMedia (associated with ARPW Group).
The merchant has failed to fulfill the service agreement. On [Date of announcement], the merchant announced an "ownership transfer" and explicitly stated that they would no longer honor existing long-term service contracts (specifically my [e.g., 3-year hosting plan]). They have demanded additional payment to continue the service I have already paid for in full.
Key Facts for the Dispute:
Under the terms of the [Consumer Credit Act / PayPal Buyer Protection], I am requesting a full chargeback/refund of [Amount] as the merchant has explicitly refused to provide the service rendered.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
Option 2: Formal Regulatory Complaint (For Action Fraud / Trading Standards / ICO)
Purpose: To trigger a legal investigation into the individuals (Lewis Edwards and Austin Wood).
Subject: Report of Fraudulent Trading and Systematic Breach of Contract by ARPW Group / VeloxMedia
To the Investigating Officer,
I am reporting a suspected "Exit Scam" and fraudulent trading activity involving ARPWUK LIMITED (SC862373) and its associated brand VeloxMedia.co.uk.
Involved Parties:
Nature of Complaint:
The operators of VeloxMedia have engaged in a coordinated effort to defraud consumers by:
This appears to be a "Phoenix Company" fraud designed to strip assets and liabilities before restarting under a different name, leaving hundreds of consumers financially damaged.
I request that Trading Standards and the relevant authorities investigate the conduct of the Directors and the legitimacy of the recent "ownership transfer."
Sincerely,
[Your Name]

Nature of business (SIC)
This is a critical step. When a company prepares for an "exit scam," they often delete support tickets, wipe databases, or take the entire website offline to destroy evidence.
Please share this Evidence Checklist with the community immediately. I recommend everyone save these as PDFs or Full-page screenshots.
🛡️ CRITICAL: Evidence Preservation Checklist for VeloxMedia Users
The website and client portal may go offline at any moment. To successfuly win a chargeback or legal claim, you need to save the following items NOW.
1. Financial Proof (The "Paper Trail")
2. Service Agreement Proof
veloxmedia.co.uk/terms-of-service/page.Why? This proves who you contracted with (Lewis Edwards/ARPW) before they try to scrub the names.
The "Welcome Email": Find the original email you received when you signed up, which outlines the service duration and terms.
3. Evidence of Breach (The "Smoking Gun")
4. Corporate Identity Proof
📸 How to Take "Legally Sound" Screenshots
Do not just crop a small image. For your evidence to be strong in a dispute:
Ctrl+P(orCmd+P) and select "Save as PDF". This often preserves metadata better than a simple image. What to do with this folder?
Once you have gathered this "Evidence Folder":
VeloxMedia_Evidence_[YourName].The above points are the blueprint provided by the AI, and while it may contain inaccuracies, those who find it useful are encouraged to build upon it and apply their own expertise.
A classic summary of AI is worth learning from:
Personally, I think this is an unrelated entity as it's been a dormant company for about 6 years (so well before Veloxmedia did anything to do with hosting), based in England not Scotland. I suspect we'll see a lot of unnecessary dormant companies being closed this year as the filing fees went up considerably and there's a load more red tape been introduced about verifying director identities.
It's not the process, it's the attorneys and accounting employees who work 9-5 to process this and file then get the paperwork and hand it over and everything.
Adding a company is a process, it's a lot of moving parts to do in a few days during Christmas.
This is a kind reminder. Therefore, in times like these, the LET 's team and all users should exercise prudence when engaging with vendors whose backgrounds are less familiar, understanding that one cannot always have the best of both worlds.
@VeloxMedia, Freemont is gone? what's next?
No, it's not. If you are afraid or not experienced enough to do this by yourself then you can obviously outsource it but you can pay extra to get it done fast. You would know this if you contacted someone. Hell, we are providing you hints here right now how long it takes - for free!
I can even go wild and state that if you had revealed yourself, explained your intentions and asked how it should be done properly then you most probably would have it done and dusted already.
But as we can see being lawful and transparent was never your intention.
Systems are under attack still. They're all working on it. Hopefully the attack stops soon or they get it under control.
Sorry this is happening to you guys. Seems some of you don't seem to like others on here.
@VeloxMedia
I received no notification whatsoever before my server was terminated.
I want to know what the reason is.
In the support ticket, we discussed the trust agreement. I paid €177 for three years of service.
What further actions do you intend to take?
Don't you realize that arbitrarily shutting down a customer's server without any notice will cause losses?
down going 5 hours , i gues no one fix this isue since xmas...
A classic example of "I'm just putting stuff into AI and believing everything it says". From line 1 from the "investigation report" that you've put here in this thread I saw it was (a) from AI and (b) had mistakes in it (as almost everything these days with AI).
What you're doing here is:
I only have one comment on that: f**k off. Only stupid people use AI and don't check stuff. And the time you need to check is about the same that you need to do some proper investigation.
@VeloxMedia
I'm with you on this.
But you are co-responsible for the shit storm because you stubbornly refused to feed the LET crowd at least some crumbs. Maybe your decision was the right one from a legal perspective but it obviously angers many here.
That said, @LET crowd:
If you want to be angry at someone then it should be Lewis, because it was he who seems to have decided to abandon/sell VeloxMedia quite surprisingly and short term without notifying his customers
As for Eric my guess is that he reacts stubbornly to you trying to push and to press him. To make something very clear: He owes you NOTHING, he has no contract with any of us/you!
Plus - and rightfully - he seems to follow the guideline "How could I be responsible for something I hardly know? Priority number one and two right now are to keep the servers/operations running and to as quickly as possible learn as much as possible about this setup!". Feeding our (understandable) curiosity is not a priority - and it can't and shouldn't be, because first the "who speaks?" must be cleared and set up that is, his company must be set up. As long as it doesn't exist officially it obviously can't make statements.
Until then it's basically his good will to keep the servers running - and that he actually seems to do.
So again, if you want to be angry then you should be angry at the prior owner who did not at all follow established customs, did not inform us in time and seems to have left a mess for his successor to clean up.
My dear, please don't rush; I've drafted a statement, plus I've purchased their vps.
Happy holidays anyway~
This is an attack not an issue. They can fix it for $1000/month payable to the ISP Hurricane Electric so if its important enough to you just let me know and I'll send an invoice and pay it. I'll even cover any payment fees/taxes. This would fix for everyone at your DC but not everyone total.
They're doing the best they can but you can only expect what your SLA states and the service you bought.
@i12h stop posting AI slop.
Stop wasting everybody's time with this AI bullshit. If I want to read it I'm able to let it generate myself.
bla bla bla
Posted after a number of messages from you pretending that you've done some investigation etc.
You didn't. You just put in a few prompts in AI and copy/pasted. Even if you want to do that, start with a disclaimer, not posts after it. But better: don't. Just don't. Unless you've verified all information, are sure it's correct, etc.
But you didn't. And don't rush? This thread already is full of nonsense and assumptions. We don't need AI to be a part in it.
You're delusional mate.
"He owes you NOTHING, he has no contract with any of us/you!"
The guy has illegally obtained PII and doesn't give an ass, even sadder, he thinks it's no issue at all. How does he owe us/me nothing?
OMG you really have no idea how to run a business do you?
Need someone to handle PR for you? I'm available.
Can confirm vesoxmedia is legit
I had some good interactions with Lewis over the last few months but all of this has me questioning everything… wow this is pretty wild.
Both Fremont servers down for me.
MY BIG QUESTION IS : shall I have 1 slice of each pie, or 2 slices of the same pie?
You need to take a step back and look at what you’re obsessing over.
Whether it’s post formatting, precision, or 'human-like' thought paths—these are nothing more than constructs. Given it's the holiday season, there’s no need for this level of hostility or control.
I’m not someone you can just lean on.
Just quit while you’re ahead. At least check the information the AI is giving is right before posting it here and telling everyone to use it as a template.
I'll ignore your ad hominem and respond to what you - kindly note the assumption favourable to you - seem to consider an argument:
If any of us do have a contract, which one might argue we do, then with Lewis, not with the new owner which seems to be a us-american company which seems to not even exist yet. So, good luck in court!
You need to step back yourself. You've been told by an administrator of this forum to stop posting AI stuff. You can defend your actions any way you want, but that won't change my opinion. I know how AI works. I know what it can do. And I foresee what trouble it will bring in the future - even more as it is already doing today.
E.g. by posting this AI stuff here, and even more by not explicitely stating that it's AI generated, you are creating a "new source" in term of AI. So, basically, AI's lies are now suddenly being validated because you posted it without checking. Then, even if we're at this forum, are all very clever people and know these are lies and we ignore them, AI will rank his own lies higher and higher as being correct.
Use AI in your own time, and when thoroughly verified you can put it here.
Lol
