I don't think he is doing us a favour nor that he is a good or bad guy, but he simply is doing his job - albeit during the holidays, which deserves kudos - and taking care of his new company or operations.
FWIW: He did help me concretely and my @VeloxMedia VPS not only is up and running (and properly working) again but actually seems to be faster than it was (first impression, benchmark is running).
So, as I said above: cool down, guys and gals, and let Eric take a breath and continue his - good so far wrt tech - work!

Guys, my VPS in London went offline 20 minutes ago. I've submitted a ticket and am waiting for a response. @VeloxMedia I hope this isn't the beginning of bad news.

Having read through this thread, I'm a little concerned. btw, I paid with a Stripe Visa card, it's better to use PayPal whenever possible, as it makes managing refund disputes much easier I guess.
