Sure I can see @jbiloh coming out and claiming learning and moving forward things can change but thats been a rinse repeat. A parent company with beauty products allowed to sell hosting is not new. But somrthing one would have learned how to identify and not allow sales

Billing was flipped from GBP to USD by default, so even old invoices reflect invalid amounts now. Had to go back to my email and look at what it actually was. I mean hey, everything technically got cheaper... but... yikes.
You want to try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but lewis and eric are literally saying conflicting things on the discord now, so its getting kind of hard.

At this point, I don't care who the new owner is. I'm sure it will become clear soon, but for now I'll backup my data and let the server idle like a true LETer. The ship is being steered by an unknown captain who has already taken full ownership, and the reluctance or inability to introduce themselves publicly and provide basic transparency cannot be overlooked.

A simple "Hey everyone!! Eric here" does not provide the level of introduction customers are looking for. Without verifiable details such as full name or business registration, Eric could just be a fictitious name.
Now, a random and unknown individual in the US has taken over from a UK sole trader and has access to customer data, making transparency and a proper introduction even more important.
