I think a lot of people here are assuming that an actual sale took place. There isn't really much evidence of that yet.
I've read all these comments. But do you know what? Where are the new deals?
I mean... Great Unsustainable deals
Because a company can be sold to another one. We do worry, but it's common in the business area
Can anyone give a link of what happened in the BF thread?
Whois has a residential address attached to it but the invoices go to dash aesthetics. I assume thats the beauty stuff that was being mentioned?
Its spread all over the place and i only know around what i believe is the midpoint, with people trying to investigate the validity of the company here: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/212154/2025-black-friday-cyber-monday-flash-sale-megathread-the-trade-war/p649
The thread continues beyond that, but page 649 and the next couple of pages is a good point to start for seeing what people were discovering. Anyone who followed the thread from the beginning might be able to give a concise summary of the full events.

The only provider which lasted loooong for such deals is Virmache... Sadly he gave up after 10 years
Anybody remembers what was his early days offers like?
Was it same as in last few months or different?
They were always cheap unsustainable deals. Mine 1st was 3$/y (368mb ram 7gb hdd 500gb bw) in october 2015 which was online till 3 months ago.. now its in zombie state but i dont think it will come back..
Since 2015 ? I have to say " Ashes to ashes, dust to dust " .
New guy is Eric something.
Who is Eric?
Eric Yingling?

Which one of you made this?
@Decicus
Eric Josh?
Noone knows... Just noticed on discord.
That has got to be the best website ever seen on internet.
hello, yes
looking for sponsors
What kind of sponsors? Lamborghini or VPS?
Googling that address shows up a few suspicious looking hosting companies. My guess it's a default "you really should change this shit" setting.
Kind of like the old UK jokey address "999 Letsby Avenue"
Why not both?
Budget is a bit out of $7/year
Anal bleaching
Sir that's gay and has nothing to do with Eric wtf
You don't know Eric like I do.
That's insider job now
Fwiw, seen it, haven't been inside. Tried a pinky, got shut down.
In my case, it’s even worse: I prepaid several services for five or six years in advance, and apparently that money is now gone. Unfortunately, there is no reliable information about this either.
We shouldn’t even start talking about data protection: if the company was actually sold within a few days to another company (Benthost LLC in Ohio) that may be based in the United States, I am already looking forward to the data protection complaints to the UK ICO. From personal experience, I can say that this can become very expensive.
I have to repeat myself: I hate the fact that there is no worldwide legal requirement for an imprint / company disclosure. Once again, one can only speculate about where the company Benthost actually comes from. All you have to do is add “© 2025 Wanker Hoster. All rights reserved.” And then everything is okay?! NO, NO!
By the way, it was also a violation of the GDPR that customers were not informed prior to the sale.
One more thing I would like to add: the communication and transparency of some small web hosting companies is disastrous, and lawmakers should take much stricter action here.
PS: I somehow have the feeling that this exact timing is intentional — that the credit card chargeback deadline is being waited out before the service is shut down.
