A bottle or can or beer is smaller (either 60% or 80% of a pint) and usually costs more, so a cheap pub maybe £5, in London maybe £8. That's about €10 already.

For the really strong stuff like Sara mentioned, it's even more expensive, but a lot of place will sell it around the same price just in a smaller bottle or glass.

Those are actually really affordable. Given the higher standards of living there, I was expecting much higher prices.
