  • I think it is transferable, but I will have to wait for a month before I can do it.

  • Do we get comparable sales during Christmas or is BF the only big sale on LET.

  • The biggest sale is their birthday sale in October.

You have been spamming more comments than needed just to hit the service transfer eligibility, as such you no longer qualify to create service transfer thread.

  • Finally got my mug from @NDTN! It looks pretty cool :D

Hope I can snatch a deal with GreenCloud in the next sale

  • Is the NL location unloved?

Never got upgraded and the budget storage KVMs never seems to have stock at all now.

If there's an issue, what about storage in another EU location? Ideally the UK

  • Any preview on what can we expect this xmax and new year sale? Just realised I might need another 8888-ish box.

Actually, our NL location was just upgraded, Budget plans are now EPYC Rome based. However, we have had to put a hold on Storage plans in the EU due to high power and hardware prices, we suggest taking a look at our offers in other locations instead.

Regarding the Holiday Sale, we likely won't be holding one this year. We are currently focusing on optimizations over the next few months (including the VirtFusion migration). However, we may have a Top Provider Sale next year.

  • @NDTN said: our NL location was just upgraded

Any chance that same may happen with Romania location?

  • @NDTN said: However, we may have a Top Provider Sale next year.

    Great. I'll wait till then.

  • I got my two-factor code wrong one time, tried to log in again with the right code, and now I'm blocked from the billing site. Cloudflare is way too trigger-happy.

What about charging a premium for the NL location? like $30-35 instead of $25

The other locations aren't really suitable, but I think a premium for an EU location is good

I have just made some changes to the thresholds that should prevent this type of issue from happening again.

We always try to maintain the standard price across all locations, but the demand in the NL is not that great. Let's wait for next year when things might change.

Interestingly, it was supposed to happen 7 hours ago, with just one hour's notice too, and it didn't happen... but sure, we'll just fundamentally alter the service you purchased and you'll be totally fine with it.

CORRECTION: it seems they did do something at 10pmCDT on 12/29, not 2amCDT 12/30 - and the migration hasn't occured, so no idea when that's supposed to be done.

This feels like a bait-n-switch from a provider not known for pulling that kind of thing.

    Dear xxx,

Firstly, thank you for using GreenCloud services. Secondly, we would like to inform you that we are planning to relocate our rack in Frankfurt, DE datacenter to a new facility (MK Netzdienste Datacenter) as part of an upcoming infrastructure adjustment.

The tentative migration date is February 23rd, 2026. The exact start time will be announced in advance via our Network Status page and by email approximately 1–2 days before the maintenance.

    Maintenance Details:

Date & Time: Around February 23rd, 2026 (exact time to be announced)
    Expected Downtime: Approximately 2–3 hours
Reason: Datacenter pricing adjustments (cabinet, power, and cross-connect)
Impact: No changes to your IP address or data
Affected VPS IP: xxxx - 109.zzz.zzz.zzz
    Affected Nodes: DEDellEPYC1, 10GKVMDE1
    Migration Plan:

To minimize service disruption, our team will prepare the new rack and network switches in advance and migrate 3–4 servers simultaneously during the maintenance window.

As part of this upgrade, we will also be upgrading the uplink capacity of our switch to 40Gbps to improve network performance and reliability.

We will provide further updates with the exact maintenance time soon.

Thank you very much for your understanding and continued support.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our support team.

    Sincerely,

    The GreenCloud Team.

I like how they are very upfront about reasonDatacenter pricing adjustments this feels trully LowEndTalk

Also got that e-mail twice: once with 'per node', once with 'per VPS'. One looks like sent from PHPMailer, second from billing (WHMCS?) panel - different domains... however both are sent via Amazon SES so no idea what was the point of that(?)

To be transparent, we are still losing money in EU since the start of the war in Ukraine in 2022. Our current DC (FirstColo) is increasing prices across the board, seemingly shifting its focus toward AI clients. So we are moving to a new DC under a long-term contract. The new facility is located just 20km from our current site, and we will have the racks and network fully online before the migration to ensure minimal downtime.

Guess not a great time to ask again about NL storages availability then? And also eny ETA when the ISO upload in VirtFusion NL might get fixed? Support says it's a known issue for quite a while

Have you try turning on EFI boot and init-cloud off before attaching ISO? At least that's what worked for me in SaiGon location. Other locations can attach the same ISO without those steps for whatever reason!?

Please have a backup plan ;-)

Lift and shift migrations are risky, even with only 20km. Been there, done that.

Esp. if a disk in a raid array fails, please allow for taking out data before trying a rebuild and risk losing more data.

    Thanks.

Yea, thank you, tried kinda everything before submitting a ticket, and then found out that its a known issue. Other locations are indeed working fine with ISO (don't have VN server tho)

How do I add credit on the customer panel? I thought I see the option to do so before 🤔
