Still no server and silence so long promise within 7 days
unfortunately, I ended up canceling my VPS, which I bought in June. It was a great deal, but not worth it in my opinion. It was oversold, with high IoWait times and CPU steal. It's worth mentioning that I also rebooted my VPS and it became useless. VNC didn't work in their panel, and support hasn't responded in days.
nothing here as well ordered 30th of november, @binu @xingqing any news ?
No, your order number is earlier than mine, it can't be later than mine, right?
lets hope they will process it soon
i pressume not since it has been over the 7 days the promised
Yes, the progress isn't synchronized either, so I think they're not planning to process it, but rather delaying the process. It could also be due to manpower issues, waiting for users to apply for refunds themselves.if we want to enjoy value-for-money products, we'll just have to wait.
Good luck everyone
Yeh I can't find a similar config for only 50 usd
I'm fine with that.
(1) I'm so glad I picked up the $299yr/$25m version of this offer and not the $50/month. Also
(2) Xeon 6138 is roughly comparable to the 2680v4 (and related) CPUs. And these are frequently on sale in the sub-50 range. The mainline deal in this thread was $45/month, the cyber monday deal was $33.33, and I recall from previous deals there were $500/year offers. New 2680 offers will be coming soon enough. I do agree that 6138 at $50 (and especially at $25) is a very good deal, because Dartnode previously offered someone a non-promo price of $85/month for that config a few months ago.
In the hot locations like LA/NYC you're of course going to be paying more, but considering you're in this thread I don't think you're after those cities.
I myself are located in the Netherlands i couldn't find anything for that price here need high core count for 4k transcoding
You got any reply from their side?
Nope
Sadly not
I hope today will be a good day
Hopefully. But I doubt it. They don't respond at all.
@keoir @DartNode
I got a ticket response within an hour today so that’s not true
I have a provisioning ticket now open for 2 days no response
and this promised earlier
Mike - 2 days ago
Like I said, we can not give exact time frames. I did reach out to the datacenter team and asked them to move you to the top of their list.
That's because taxes are quite a bit higher here.
If you need to transcode 4K, take a look at some of those Intel or AMD mini pc's on AliExpress. I've got an Intel N100 in my NAS and it transcodes 4K with the integrated GPU without any problems. Low power usage as well.
Those mini pc's can be bought for ~€100.
I have one but my isp is VodafoneZiggo so max 120 upload and over 2000 download pretty lame but yeh via docsis 3.1 modem
Exactly provision tickets how can you expect a daily update? They are working on getting thousands of servers out from BF
Nothings changed since your last ticket so you’re only making more unnecessary work for them it will be done when it’s done can’t really expect regular updates on something like that
Ah yes.. They're crap.
No Fiber there?
Nope only Ziggo I pay over 95 euros
Then why promise me a timeframe and even say they put me on top of the list
What a joke I just asked only when I will get my server
This ticket is being moved to the sales ticket queue so you can get in touch with Adam.
Still waiting on my VDS slice, they originally indicated it was due to US-East network issues, but those are apparently fixed and it's still borked, so we'll see what happens next.
Got 2 (intel) dedicated delivered, and got extra ipv4 and ipv6 delivered on one, NOC is definitely taking a while for the second ipv4 on the other.
Seems like they're just swamped, things are happening, just a bit more slowly than some of us impatient folks might like
When you order your dedi ?
on black friday. have had both for a couple days now, tho the one is kinda on hold til it gets its second ip.
one was delivered on the 2nd, and one on the 5th. So those both happened within a week, which imo was decent given black friday craziness.
Dammm see me waiting since 30 th November hope ut will get to me soon Intel gold here we go
The order was to be delivered on 1st of November. And it is applicable for the sales department which is handling this. Provisioning team never responded in the first place. Their engineering team as well as support team atleast respond within 24-48 hours. Sales team? Maybe once a week. Provisioning Team? Never.
Delays are understandable but atleast a response or timeline is expected. There is no proper communication from their side atleast in my experience with them.
