  • Be careful with HostSailor transfers. They tend to transfer whole SolusVM account to new owner; as in when you try transfer 1 server from previous owner they give you the previous owner’s SolusVM user and pass, or transfer you the whole SolusVM account.

    So it’s a mess.

  • Almost one year later, I've been waiting for this day to come.... I can't wait to finally upgrade to COMMODORE using my 90% recurring discount. Surely at least someone will cancel or forget to renew. I would be very disappointed to receive yet another reply like, "We cannot upgrade you at the recurring discount because the node is full; however, you are free to upgrade at full price on a different node."

    Surely 🤡
All us 90% customers are on one node somewhere in a dark corner while they hope it finally dies

    So it’s a mess.

I got a lesser problem last time: they transferred the billing only but not the SolusVM. So just double-check.

Ofcourse, I know better. Nobody will get upgrades because 'nobody canceled'. There's no way we can check. What annoys me is that they changed the rules during the game. At first they said you can upgrade at any time and retain your discount. Then they changed it to: you can upgrade at any time and retain your discount, as long as the node you're on has enough capacity left. And you guessed it: the node is full...

Same for me. That's why I'm already calling this up front lol.
