    $24.50/month or $250/year

    Or crazy expensive!

Looks like you didn't check the flash deals.

I tried, but holy smokes, the fly by so quick... then nothing. I just don't have time for that!

    These are for storing backups.

What is used to make this possible? Like, a simple Apache webserver plus... can't be nextcloud, and so much software is beyond MySQL and PHP and require more than 1GB ram. Or is just used as a remote mount for another source VPS?

  • Instead of new deals, I guess you can celebrate renewing the old ones, which may be better than what's available now and in the future.

me too, but too cheap equals bad experience I think, what you purchase is always what you will get

I've bought cheap and never had any problems. Then again, I buy cheap from reliable hosters, not "new" ones with weird names, which I've never heard of before.

Hi scooke, so you pick up one deal recently right? If so pls PM me a recommended one, I also didn't make payment for any deals now

No, I didn't pick up any. "I've bought cheap" means in the past, like long ago. BUT, if I do buy something I'm looking at Dedirock's sale (Storage Promo Plus BF LEB 2025); advinservers.com have a few good deals; and finally one from Chunkserve (Xeon Gold NVMe Special 3). We will see.

please look at how the world around us is going to shit due to the "wise" politicians we have. If you want a better world, please consider protesting now. We need to send a signal to our politicians which care only about their corruption and the greed of corporations.

Democracy aren't immune to clientism, e.g politicians favors to certain demographic for electing them. The world is shit because they have to return the favors or whatever their campaign promise. Despite it may go against society's interest in the long-term.
They use Rawls "social contract" to legitimize their rule and their backers influence to popularize themselves. So, it doesn't matter whether their ruling is shitty or made stupid decision or gave corporation welfare through government contracts, as long as they give enough benefits to the most disadvantaged (poor). It's socially just under the framework.

If you could see my fleet of servers, they all have BF2019, BF2022 in the service name, etc., for the great deals they were, and I still use them.

    What about BF2018 and BF2017?

Anyone else still using (at least some) machines since then?

I do (very few only, though).

Generally re the BF Mega-thread I'm torn. OTOH @FAT32 definitely deserves praise for his great work, on the other hand though I'm not even following that thread, mainly for two reasons, (a) I'm not interested in the cheapest but in the best deals (big difference!), plus IMO most "super-deals" use old hw and/or are just the normal products but more overcrowded hence cheaper, and (b) I'm not willing to closely follow a thread for multiple days in order to not miss a good deal yet missing good deals anyway because humans need to sleep, eat, go to the bathroom, etc.

But anyway, thanks a ton for your efforts, Fat32!

Thank you Scooke, I didnt know the other two, I'd stay tuned, I found some users left comment about not good experience from dedi, I am still considering it, good luck!

sftp-server on the storage server, rclone sftp remote on the client side.
