    I am gonna confess shamefully that me and Ben are the reason the rule exists. We used to do that on the NY thread but it used to disrupt Trk and xpress's present convo by a lot. So, they asked us to maybe stop and we complied. Since then we have had this unwritten rule that newer participants get reminded of. I told bchot of this early on and he was really understanding.
    I do get the appeal of responding to old posts to increase comment count. I know cause I did that and I am ashamed cause I was made aware that it breaks the experience for everyone.
    For anyone else reading, kindly understand that I am not trying to manage this thread. I consider this thread my home for these few months so, I am just adding my opinion. Everyone is free to do whatever they feel like. Peace out

    Yeah, I doubt I would need to care if I didn't change it but it's habit to glance and edit it out. Like, if I didn't put noob404, I'd probably would have done abc123 or something generic

    So I moved most of the things on my switch 2 to the internal drive, mostly the bigger games and ones I know I will play. So unless I download/get new games, I should be able to just swap the cards when my new one arrives and not care about anything left on it. Though I did read from nintendo themselves, I should be able to just use a computer and copy the files over since I'm not combining multiple cards or changing consoles.

    That's convenient. BTW, upon connecting your Switch 2 to a pc, does it show up as an MTP device and ca you access folders not the root ones easily?

    no, it's detected as a usb device but no storage is accessible. Windows, just hear the sound and linux, it detects but can't open/mount it and dmesg says

    I mentioned it detects the switch 2 but can't open anything, even posted the snippet from the kernel/dmesg in which I changed the serial to your name :smile:

    Yeah, I doubt I would need to care if I didn't change it but it's habit to glance and edit it out. Like, if I didn't put noob404, I'd probably would have done abc123 or something generic

    yeah, that's what I'm saying, I doubt I would need to care but it's just habit to edit some of the things out like serial numbers.
