I think so. I seem to do well when there's a "mistake" (I think I got one deal because NDTN made a typo and had to edit the post). I also think that this is not a particularly active time and so it's likely a little easier now vs "peak time" (whatever that is/was).

I suspect the bug might be caused by many people adding items to their carts at the same time. I successfully added my item later, but it was too late.
