No because of power draw, CPU/GPU is never available for one time upgrade to keep things somewhat sustainable.

I missed the $99/yr :disappointed:, don't suppose you'd have anything kicking around you could do for a bit more? Maybe some old hardware that's not really part of the usual line up that you'd like to put back in rotation?
I need to scratch this 'deals' itch that hasn't been satisfied this year and I'll feel a lot better canceling other stuff if I "plan" to move things

Once the dust clears with the current queue tomorrow I'm going to take a deep dive and see what we got. I think I have some capacity in multinode hosts that run dual e5, some v2 with a ton of ram, and some v3/v4. I have some E3's for suuuuure, but theyre buried in climate controlled storage.

^--- Customer service done right folks

Normally I wouldn't chase a deal, if I miss it I miss it.
But Mr.@DartNode here just has the right vibes, it's refreshing and tbh what I feel has been missing from the thread this year. Everyone's retreated to their own threads. Last year was a banger because of so much interaction with hosts.

@DartNode if you want to slide that into my DM's   when you finish knocking around the "reuse" pile.

Yes, typically that's true because we often use our network of suppliers to order parts rapidly after a customers order. We keep margins really low, even on regular website prices. This relies on a mix of "Just in Time" logistics and not sitting on piles of inventory.

Black Friday is a little unique, we prepare for it. We have over 500 CPU's, 6TB of DDR4 ECC, 7TB of DDR5, hundreds of drives, hundreds of chassis, and about 6 racks set aside for it.

In this case, a cancellation isn't the end of the world, and the inventory will be reused at non BF loss leader prices.

Hmm, I'll have to look into it. Looks like a 24TB would be best value at like $330ish, 12TB would be about $75 less. The lower quantities are meh pricing, I could probably do better if I looked not exhausted. Put it in the provisioning ticket please so I can look at it while lucid.
