Always a good thing! If you ever have to burn some PTO (like you hit the max banking), unless you're planning something, I recommend trying to take Mondays off. At least for me, it was a weird mind trick that didn't feel like a long weekend.

The new/this year's offers, no, no way to my knowledge. Maybe @dustinc can comment if there's a way behind the scenes. To my knowledge, you have to get a new service for the new pricing and then migrate things over/change dns/etc. and then cancel your old one.
