Not going to order the top Threadripper plan because I think the compute score will be lower than my linveo AMD KVM VPS 8GB with its 8 Ryzen 9950X cores. hostbrr's plan does have more RAM (20 GB vs 8GB), but I need more CPU power than memory, and hostbrr is about $5 more expensive (16 EUR vs $12 USD monthly).

CPU Goes:
Turin -> 9995WX -> 9950X.
Benefit is 9995WX is due to higher core count noisy neighbors have less impact, so overall performance should be more smooth. If you are on a good 9950X node then it is the overall best CPU choice.

Honestly, seeing these new EPYC 9655 deals is painful. 💀
I grabbed the EPYC Anniversary Special (€90/yr) back in April thinking it was end-game. Fast forward to BF: same CPU, but Storage and Bandwidth are literally DOUBLED on the new offers.
Feels like a proper backstab. The "early adopter tax" is real with this one. 🤡
