  • For $7/year the VPS is pretty fast, but the network is ehh.. Not that good. Packetloss or just no network at all to the EU (OVH and my home server) which makes Uptime Kuma think my servers are down.

    But it's $7/year. Can't expect much from that.

    Nice call that actually worked! I wish I would have tried that yesterday lol. The Buffalo VPS was running the whole time (could access via VNC) but it wasn't connected to the network but poweroff then start from panel did indeed resolve it.

    Hi,

    It just shows online. Half of OS images when installed are not even reachable from any server or pingtool. I tried online ping tool as well. Only CentOS 8 worked and that too has DNS issues and misconfiguration. I fixed that but then hit by another issue. Never in my life spent so many hours to just reinstall, re-configure and then get hit by new issue. I am not happy, and I have provided all screenshot and asked for refund.

    Would be really great if the networking would improve. That's all I complain about (although, I don't think I can complain about 7 dollars..). VPS is really stable, performance is very very good for the price. No issues other than networking ;)

    @DediRock Hey, does your support team use translator? I feel like in a loop for this ticket #KRZ-340066

    Alma and rocky 9.x gives kernel panic and almalinux 10 just boot loops.

    I've seen multiple YABS with alma 9.x here. I feel like the problem will be solved by recreating the VPS or moving it to a different node but I can't get anywhere with the ticket.
