Scaleway stardust is the way forward.
yeah i don't blame you.. usually it's just ads/pops on your image is how those sites (image hosters) make money..
yeah, I was like "it's been forever, I wonder if they tell me when my account was created" just to find they do! I dealt with micrsoft support to find out my hotmail account was created in early 2001. I did originally have a different hotmail account that I created in the late 90s but I forgot the password/got locked out and then created the new one.
It's much more than ads, if you carefully read the terms and privacy policy you will be amazed.
I don't have a credit card (not used in my country) so can't use that
scaring me.. am i going to get sewn into one of those ass-to-mouth horror things? like Apple did to Kyle in South Park? You signed, you agreed!!
That's why I host my screenshots on a cheap storagebox
Privacy!
Ps: just ask any ai to summarise the terms and privacy policy of imgur.com and you can understand gist of things.
Yeah, I thought about that but I just ignore upgrades until I have the time to do my nodes one by one. I have 3 mini pc/nuc like boxes. For awhile, I replicated data between them but got split brained too often that I switched to them just being clustered without replication. Though I can easily move/migrate to a different node if I want.
I did feel a little bad using pve-nag-buster but since there's no "homelab" option, I don't really feel that bad about it.
Yeah, though the only things I posted there I don't care about. Like that yangyang graph. If I cared about it, it wouldn't be on a free service and self hosted
lol, several years ago I asked average internet folks if they knew what a privacy policy was and they basically thought it meant their privacy was protected if there was one
IT'S THE SEASON, BLACK FRIDAY HYPE with REAL DEALS. CHECK THEM OUT: https://www.racknerd.com/BlackFriday/ 🔥
😳😂😭😭 oof.
Wow! We gotta educate people more on these types of things!
Seriously, if you know some "average" folks, ask them what they think it means. Though it might have gotten better since I asked.
Good night everyone!
Might ask some people at my work tomorrow
gemini says: Imgur's Terms of Service grant the platform a broad license to use publicly uploaded content and prohibit specific material, including sexually explicit images, which are subject to removal under recent policy updates. The Privacy Policy details the collection of user and device data, including IP addresses and information gathered via cookies for advertising, while also noting automatic removal of EXIF data from uploads and limited data retention. doesn't sound too bad though..
G'night, sleep tight. Hopefully @DaDeveloper doesn't pass you overnight
good night.. i am also using this opportunity of calm time to do some of the procrastinated work i gotta do .. the sooner the better.. still refreshing here every 10-15..
We'll see, and if so, I'll just have to talk a bit more tomorrow
damm.. i always work with sites 1 by 1.. finish with 1, do next.. now i am in rush to get back here, and for the first time decided lets 2 do sites right away and then check.. and of course both broke... freaking hate it.. as soon as one step to the side - and boom...
just moving a few sites from 1 VPS to another.. and using nginx reverse proxy cause i like sites to be on 1 single server but use VPS for proxies, so PHP only needed on server.. PHP breaks often on weak VPSes..
Great news! Los Angeles DC-03 has just been fully restocked w/ 60 NEW nodes now online
This location is now available for deployment across all KVM VPS plans, including every VPS offer listed @ RackNerd.com/BlackFriday
This also means our first Black Friday VPS plan (1 GB RAM @ just $10.60/year) is now deployable in Los Angeles DC-03 for the first time since launching this sale!
Given the consistently high interest/demand for Los Angeles deployments, LA DC-03 restocks never last long. If history is any indication, these nodes will be filled up quickly, so if you've been looking to deploy a VPS in Los Angeles, now is the best time to do so!
nice work , every one will be happy.
I love using nginx for a proxy server, regardless of it targeting php or other things like nodejs!
1.2K new posts... I feel lost.
Page 169... I approve.
I just renewed my BF 2021 plan ($10.88, 768MB, 11GB, LA DC-02) a few days ago! Bad timing 😭
