are they green to begin with? i just recently found out red/orange/yellow bell peppers are simply more ripe green bell peppers.. somehow i never made that connection myself...
Yes, they start out green. Taking a bit longer to ripe but they'll turn a lovely black.
I mean, not like a rotten 🍅, which will turn black as we ll I guess.
I didn't grow peppers this year but had some black pepper as well the year before. Kinda nice.

otherwise i'll be here alone.. i still got 1.5hrs till dinner. no cooking today. i cook 2 meals at a time. mostly because i gotta get to the grocery store every 2 days to provide rotisserie chicken for my furry babies.. i don't mind.. helps me always buy fresh and cook fresh and be merry.. my wife's aunt could only get to the store when had a ride (from/by my wife), so she'd buy a month worth of stuff at a time.. i do 2 days. it's even fun. i even started noticing others who also come at least every 2 days..
Excellent reply. I've had great service from y'all for all these years across multiple services so I'm definitely not going anywhere. To keep it simple, I'll just go the rsync route as I've done that on my own local boxes before and it's pretty darned easy.

you don't mean the (future) ground black pepper? but rather normal peppers that are black? i am looking those up.. i mean, i know peppers are super versatile, from flat to hot, from hot to impossible to eat.. like those louisiana reapers and stuff like that.. i mean, i eat very spicy, i always put a bunch of red pepper flakes on top of ground pepper, lots of garlic and onion, thankfully me and my wife don't kiss anymore, LOL (a sad one)..
where i live though neighbors use backyards for growing vegetables sometimes, my next door neighbor grows super long cucumbers, tomatoes, bitter melons, bottle gourd (long green squash).. he always shares with me. good stuff. only i never take bitter melons, cannot cook those.

Yeah, rather normal. Not too spicy. I like spicy myself but the kid, well kinda can handle it but not in food. Then she's like, let's get some carolina reaper chips and she kills it but yet... Not in actual food. I really dig Indian curries and such but yeah, don't get to eat it that much because of the spices....

I really like growing a lot of stuff myself. When in season got apples, strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers , cucumbers, lots of herbs, pumpkins, courgettes.
Uses to grow cannabis but can't anymore.... Being a responsible parent
@Saragoldfarb i have put the 5 domains on afternic, funnily it is valuing 3 of them pretty much as much as i am, $2500-3600.. the 2 yt.* domains are said to be much less - $658 each.. but i think i will be asking for more..

LOL, i wanted to grow weed too, but it smells and needs a lot of care, AFAIK or at least good lighting, anyway, never got to it. but in any case i stopped igniting weed, and started vaping it, you know, by heating it up and running hot air thru the bud, but eventually just switched to concentrates.. and i get carts for ease of use.
but truly i'm actually doing a different thing with weed since june this year.. until then i NEVER took a break, very very heavy consumer, edibles won't even work on me, so this summer i actually took a loooong break - 3 months, got completely clean... OMG.. when i ate a few of those gummies first days of september, daaaaaaammmm, i've literally never been so high in my life. it was so intense, so freaking awesome... so then i did couple of vaping sessions next day - same super intense high that i either never experienced or already forgot after 25years of consuming.. so then i took 2 weeks break again, and again got so high.. not on edibles though, didn't work anymore, but vaping.. a month later i am doing it every day not as often as before, but once a day, and finally november comes a nocking - i stop, cause basically not getting much anymore... so it's been 3 weeks now again nothing, will wait till NY, then start again, maybe even with lesser amounts, will test how it goes, but basically this is how i will continue from now on.. maybe a month of weed, then 2 months break.. the amount needed is like 10 times less. my shelves are stacked with all kinds of edibles, concentrates.. i don't even want to do it right now.. but will.. anyway, just wanted to share this amazing experience.. i never even thought after so many years i could get such trips..
shrooms i loved when was younger.. here in chicago they also soo intense.. in new york i used to find sometimes - wasn't anything, this chicago shrooms OMG i was reborn and had to relearn everything i new and was, it was unforgettable.. i went to my car - it was a freaking space shit on the inside, so many lights, so dangerous... couldn't even drive it out of the parking.. just went back home... LOL.. was gonna go clubbing.. little that i knew, my apartment was my club that night.. it was more intense than LSD i tried in Philly at a FISH concert after-market.. LOL.. times were well memorable..

Shrooms however, when my kid is staying with my parents , I live to microdose. Can get weeks of work done in just a couple of days.
