You are in luck cause he ain't competing.
Might be, but i could always try!
Thats impossible... he will start tonreply to each BW doubling request and explode his comment count
RAM, I am actually running out of it on my main Racknerd VPS.

If we get like a 3-4 GB ram vps, we could probably host a minecraft server! For the ones playing minecraft of course
I am rooting for you, dude. JUst keep going. At this point, I am sure, you have a good grasp over the game.
What dashboard is that?
Makes sense. Good luck.
There are also gonna be unbelievable deals on VPSes when the chef arrives.
no competing but still racking up those comments like a pro!
I'm gonna try to host a minecraft server on my 1 GB racknerd vps. Let's see how it goes!

IT'S THE SEASON, BLACK FRIDAY HYPE with REAL DEALS. CHECK THEM OUT: https://www.racknerd.com/BlackFriday/
It is but I can treat my network like a desktop PC and upgrade just parts as needed, when I can, or I find a great deal on the hardware. For a long time I used typically home consumer routers and I would always end up killing their transfer rates (both physical and wired) that it didn't make sense for me to keep going that route. Then I used an old PC for the router while reusing old router for an AP, started upgrading stuff until I started replacing it with ubiquiti products. If I wasn't able to replace things part by part and keep using my old stuff. Though the bad thing about doing it that way, you don't always realize how much money you've put into it
Also, my email is going insane with the amount of replies/mentions in here
haha to me it seems you want others to keep going so that your final numbers don't be like 5 times the next spot... want a bit of a competition?
Yah. You will soon be a pro at that. Also, if you can keep this up, remember that the party doesn't end with this BF thread. Soon after this ends, there's gonna be an NY thread which will have a similar if not better prize pool. Atleast, that's how it has been the past few years.
A good find man, thanks for sharing.
Ben tried to host one on a 3GB VPS last year, I believe. And, he said, it performed well.
Oh yeah!
Thanks for sharing! Never heard of it before
It might be best to turn off e-mail notifications for mentions and quotes right now
Minecraft needs at least 2 Gb ram nowadays, so a 3 GB vps should be fine
Please share all the mods and hardware list, pretty please 🥺
Yeah true, but then I might some replies when I'm asleep!
LOL! I just love keeping the hype up on these threads. I found RackNerd threads 2 years ago when I was going through a rough patch. So yes, sentiments are involved and I am grateful to Dustin and the RN team for these.
Hi @gibdeals -- we went all out this year for sure! Plenty of chances for everyone to snag something
Oh yes, it should be. I am hoping Ben would join us any time soon. It'd be best to ask him for some pointers.
That's the plan! Is that the spot you’re looking to deploy in?
Welcome back to the thread!
