Hello everyone, I wish you a pleasant and wonderful day. I have been waiting for a resolution for exactly 36 hours due to an issue caused by OVH.
It is understandable that devices are moved or transported without prior notice. However, what is concerning is that my server's internet connection has been disconnected without any warning. In a large data center, only my device's internet cable is not plugged in, which has resulted in critical DNS infrastructure being down for hours.
Despite multiple attempts, I have yet to receive any response through the control panel or other communication channels.
I strongly advise caution before working with OVH, and I urge you to consider the potential risks involved.

    Seems like ERI0102A05A is green? Either way have you considered that maybe it is caused by the cable is broken instead? Anyway I would recommend activating your DR plan if you have one in your company.

    so they moved some hardware and made a mistake with the cables.

    If you don't have for premium support, you might not get a fast response today, because it’s a public holiday in France (though not in the UK).

    If your infrastructure is important, you should set up redundancy to prevent issues like this.

    Is that a kimsufi server?
    Is that a VPS?

    OVH has different ranges and when you are making a review is good to know which one you are on

    My OVH VPS was down for 10+ days I wouldn’t use them and not have a backup strategy

  • I mean I'm pretty low IQ around here, but aren't you supposed to have redundancy for something like DNS? I mean having ns1 and ns2 and ns3 on different servers, with different providers, to alleviate something like this happening.

    It is undarstandible that divises are mooved or tranzported sumtimes without priyor notis. Bot what is truly konzarning my sarvarz intarnet konexion iz diskonekted no warnin AT ALL.

    In a large data sentar (its a warehouse for computes) only my device kabel is not plugd in. It’s like a joke or sumthing. Only MINE! Resulting in kritikal D N S infra struktor being totally down for hores and hores. Insane.

    Despight multipl atemps i cannot reseive any rezponse through my kontrole panel or any komunykation channulz. Dey are ignoring me 😢.

    I stronly advize kaushion befor working with OVH. I urge u to konsider this potenshul riskz involved (maybe dey eat the cabel or sumthing). Be careful. Regaurds.

    We need a modified AI to translate AI text into short Mjj sentences. I am starting to understand Mjj better than AI, at least the admin might be hesitant to take that kind of reviews for his AI.
