No refund, and MasterCard said I am responsible for my charge. So, I have no server, no service, no refund. Will contact MasterCard in a moment and continue on. It was stated in the ticket a refund will be issued. So we shall see. Nothing like being out $800+...
Got a response from Nuyek and a refund I'm told has been issued. Fingers crossed. Disappointed that it didn't work out to have a great server -- but probably happened for the best.
You're supposed to be doing backups before anything bad happens.
just got more servers delivered
quick yabs:
Plot twist: no DDoS but all the users doing triple geekbench yabs.
Didn't fall for the hype and zero purchases from them, so no regrets here
But I hope they find a resolution for all of you
even my precious BEANSPECIAL2025 is offline
I had some hope but even that has now been dashed. Gonna do a chargeback.
I am gonna call it now, it doesn't seem like they are going to resolve the matter even when I asked them. (He responded quickly for any other inquiry but when asked about all these people that they haven't delivered -> he just no longer reply to my messages)
It is kinda sad how it turns out despite I really hope that they success, heck I also already spent hundreds with them but oh well. I have just taken a look on my idlers and my dedi with them has been offline for weeks and I can't even login to the dedi control panel.
Tag suspended, and for those with services undelivered please chargeback now.
Actually the service has been marked as refunded, but I have been waiting for three months and the refund has never arrived
I've tried contacting them through the ticket system, but no one has replied so far.
This is like usa version of ihostart
Same case here. Nuyek isn't going to come back. Had inquired about potential delivery date and if not refund using ticket system but so far have been met with dead silence. Those who can chargeback should do so immediately. Those who have a working server should start looking for a new home ASAP. No one knows, who will be their next victim.
Bad Nu‘s .
Understandable given they've gone cold, but disappointing to see it come to this
I just got to know about Nuyek approx 1 yr ago during BF2024 and his reputation was quite good at that time when I asked about it, sadly it has come to this path. Time to let my VPS-CHRISTMAS2024-7YR go (already decided even before this post is opened).
Both my servers (dedi and vps) are working fine but the whole situation does not look good.
And those 3 services were soon good, powerful and cheap. But, unfortunately, I had to terminate them.
Really a shame. Was a good place to get a decent server for a good deal in exchange for less reliability. Perfect for non-production types of things
Everything works for me, sad to see it had to come to this given I really like their services and Zach. Especially given Enzonix is now gone too. I know they still do like S3 but VPS-wise, gone.
Good that action is taken anyway to avoid people losing money.
I hope he returns ASAP, explains the situation, fixes it and regains his tag.
I still have my dedi but ipv4 keeps going up and down every few days.
Hello! Just a quick update on my Nuyek experience. As the Holiday season is approaching, I realized somethings just aren't worth the additional stress and anxiety. Charge back went no where, Zach did have a good point that I misquoted the service fee for a charge back in a ticket update. It is $25, I made a mistake and said $65. I'm closing my complaint with the IL OAG this morning, I'm asking Nuyek who said I can have a credit OR the server delivered on 12/15 to donate the server for the year of use to a local school, votech, STEM group etc. I wish you all the best of luck and hopefully a great Holiday season.
Copy of what was sent; so nothing comes back.
I just wanted to follow up and let you know that I’ve posted a correction regarding the $65 versus $25 amount—I had simply forgotten to update that earlier.
If you’re open to it, I would love to see the year of service or any credits gifted to a local high school, STEM group, or someone in your community who could really benefit from learning about technology and building projects. I think that would be a wonderful way to pay it forward.
I’ve also contacted the IL OAG to close the case, as I don’t see this moving forward on my end. At this point, I’d appreciate it if you could please close and delete my account, or fully deactivate it—whatever is easiest on your side. I’ll also be sending this request by USPS so you have it in writing as well.
I truly hope that someone in your community is able to make good use of the dedicated server, VPS, or whatever you decide to pass along.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and all the best this holiday season.
Best regards,
I respect your approach. I still remember how fortunate I felt back in school when a free server was available. Wishing you all the best.
That's very cool of you, hopefully it actually happens. Will you know?
Maybe something will be posted here. I asked for my account etc to be deleted.
Spent hundreds? I'm in your sig and I think we've squeezed $7 out of you in the last 3 years. Wow, at least now I know I'm your backup slampig @FAT32.
I hope @ZachNuyek is just buried in (real) work. Burnout can be very real, especially your first floods of deals and then subsequent... treatment.
Not sure how it went against me but my charge back was denied; even with detailed time line etc. CRAZY. Guess a good relationship with STRIPE. BUT, hopefully a donated server to a local school or something will make a difference. HOWEVER, now I know of crunchbits.com which is near home - checking out what you have now! SO, your post.. thank you.
I heard his Asian grandmother finally kicked him out of the basement due to the recent spike in ram cost but I could’ve misheard…
