We had remote hands working on this, services were only down for a short period while we performed our upgrades.
Thank you

OK, this is the timeline: [local time as in Amsterdam]
09:16: VPS is down
09:20: Mail is sent and receveived that is announcing maintenance
14:12: VPS is back again
Only after I entered a ticket I got a response that maintenance has finished.
Lessons for you to learn:
Hey, is there anything going on with the Intel Silver node in California? Both of my intel gold servers are fine but the silver server can barely run any commands through SSH it’s so slow and my VPN is showing massive ping spikes and slow speeds.
Edit: my.veloxmedia.co.uk is down for me.
Edit 2: Website now shows this at the top: “This website my.veloxmedia.co.uk/ is currently offline. Cloudflare's Always Online™ shows a snapshot of this web page from the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. To check for the live version, click Refresh.”

It looks up for me.
Hello,
If you have reached your bandwidth limit this is normal.
Please open a support ticket where we can have a look for you, or you can send me a PM.
Thank you

Hello,
The other mail was sent out to confirm things were back up, we can check to see if there was any bounce backs or rejections to mail services or another issue as to why it wasn't received.
Of course downtime is never good but sometimes it's critical that we carry these out with short notice. This server in question got new upgrades, software upgrades to the OS and some RAM was replaced.
$7/Y out of stock again.
That's strange because I don't see any bounced mail, mail in spam, etc and the original mail of "announcing" was received correctly.
I totally get that there always is a chance that maintenance has to be carried out. No problem. However, you totally ignore the fact that it was announced after it started. You want to establish yourself as a trustworthy and stable provider, but that also means that announcements are there for people to take measures; impossible when the maintenance already is carried out when the mail is sent.
Also you ignore my remark about the 5 hour downtime while you say here that it was "a short period". Do you call 5 hours a short period then?
Order : 23353 -- @VeloxMedia providing great service as always ! (2nd server)

Thank you for your message and for pointing that out, you’re absolutely right.
It wasn’t ideal that the maintenance notice went out after work had already begun, and I completely understand your frustration. We normally aim to give advance notice so clients can plan around downtime.
I wouldn’t call 5 hours “minimal” either, that’s certainly longer than we’d ever want, and I agree that communication could have been handled better. We rely on remote hands for the Amsterdam facility, and while that can sometimes limit our response control, it doesn’t excuse the delay in notifying you.
We take your feedback seriously, and I’ll make sure we improve both our notification process and communication timeline going forward.
Both of my servers just went down, anything happening again?
Seems to be going out of hand…
