Yea, the nodes feel oversold, I/O is getting worse, instead of fixing the issues, he runs another sale.
Unfortunately this does not depend directly on us, I'm trying to push for a quick fix
Unfortunately this time there are no disks that we usually buy and we are having some problems with the new model, but as mentioned everyone will soon have a free upgrade to NVMe disks for solve this.
Can you please notify us once the nvme upgrade is completed. For now I'm just gonna leave my instance on idle which is a shame, cause I really need to use it. Even copying dir took forever. The first day of usage everything run so smoothly. Then not so much anymore.
I'm so hoping that this nvme upgrade will improve my experience, cause at its current state, I don't think I'll be able to use that vps. I'm on J-series btw.
yes, sadly overselling killed it. I used to like their servers a lot but moved most of my apps away simply because everything is super oversold. And it is kinda strange to open a ticket everytime something is not working or slow since everything is oversold.
Sure, everything will be announced on our status page, and it will most likely happen on Monday or Tuesday. This will be a great upgrade for anyone experiencing slowdowns. If you have any issues, I recommend opening a ticket so we can find a solution.
I'm sorry you think this. Our nodes are certainly not empty, but I don't feel like they're exhausted. We understand what you mean, and we're working every day to find solutions. We're confident that what we're doing with the new NVMe (which will replace all the SSDs in our offerings) will be better. Thank you for your honest feedback.
I like when providers answer to any negative feedback which shows how serious they are with the services.
appreciate it @DeluxHost .
when the NEW NVMe will be available?
They said "it will most likely happen on Monday or Tuesday".
We're currently testing the new NVMe drives, and they're performing great! I'm sure you'll be very happy with them.
For anyone on nodes K and J who would like to be moved, please open a ticket and we'll proceed with the migration by tomorrow. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes. We'll also be moving many of you ourselves, but since it's a manual process, it will take some time.
Unfortunately, we also have some bad news.
While I was inquiring about purchasing parts for the next sale, our suppliers seem to have dramatically increased their prices for the RAM. So beyond Black Friday, for which we already have some RAM set aside and another node already installed, we don't know if we'll be able to continue offering deals at these prices.
I'm truly sorry, but unless the situation changes, this will probably be one of our last offers.
I will do my best to keep our prices as low as possible, but the situation seems to be out of control, the increase is over 90%.
Thank you all for your amazing support over the past 9 months.
What about people on nodes T and D?
What do you mean?
Will users on those nodes get NVME upgrade eventually?
The D and T nodes already have NVMe SSDs, but they'll surely be further enhanced with the new models we're acquiring.
All our nodes will have new NVMe SSD, it's just a matter of time.
Ah, gotcha now. Silly me.
no problem!
Hmm people on node I then? @DeluxHost
Hello, Do you block port 25?
Yes. Ping their support with justification for unblock
it's the same for everyone
@DeluxHost Can we expect Ryzen VPS deals for this coming black friday?
maybe yes or maybe no?
Let it be "YES"
We’ve completed a full restock, all new servers will now be delivered with NVMe SSDs instead of standard SSDs!
After performing several tests, we can confirm that the new NVMe SSDs perform exceptionally well. The restock was carried out because the offer had been temporarily paused, we preferred to resume it only once NVMe units were available.
Now that they are, we’ve done a general restock to finalize the offer.
Customers on plan J or K can request to be moved to NVMe for free by opening a support ticket, or simply wait for the migration to be done manually (though this might take a bit longer).
Thank you all for your trust and continued support!
When will the X nodes get NVME?
with time all the nodes, just a matter of time.
Waiting for testing BGP
