On a serious note - I think it is age driven. Older LET members seem to be grand fathered in to the VIP system. I think spamming posting tasty food pics also helps.

The 2 cores are already aggregated in top. For htop, you'd need to average the two cores, wouldn't you? Unless the total is 200%, and judging by the slider, it doesn't look like it.
Yes, but usually top updated every 3 second / htop updated every 1.5 second. so, it might be helpful for average usage.
