HostSlick not responding to tickets?

Hey LowEnders,

anyone else been ghosted by the support in the last couple of weeks? My ticket set on "High" (service down) and haven't heard back anything. Using their ticket tool directly, e-mail is a pain.

thx

my tickets were deleted 2-3 times for the same issue from around December last year, was never resolved

Hostslick is a professional at gaslighting

if you still can, chargeback yesterday

if you can't, use with extreme caution

so many providers out there hustling for business, no need to waste any time on bullshit.

  • Their provider tag got suspended on LET btw.

Got a VPS deal last year on Black Friday, after one-two months cancelled it (no refund ofc).
The VPS was more down then up. About tickets, same experience - very, very slow answer.

I've got left with this provider just a lifetime shared hosting and we're some licenses issues. The ticket was answered the next day and done right. Considering it's a lifetime service and anyway they discontinued the web hosting products... I may be lucky.

And when I had KVMs the tickets were answered same day, in few hours.

I don't know his the situation now. He may also be on annual leave (sorting out the priorities).

    All the best.

He'd probably be able to answer tickets faster if he wasn't spending so much time keeping Aisuru and it's twins online... it's not like he doesn't know they're hosted on his network.

  • He's probably smoking too much weed

The amount of hosts using customers acquired from LET as a front for their better paying, criminal customers, is truly impressive.

Why would they need a front? Why would a few LET clients help making hosting other stuff easier? Seems more like LET income isn’t enough by itself, and the purpose being multiple income streams.

I am not very active here nowadays, but would estimate the number to be around 10. Counting only hosts which have had a presence here kind of recently, not historically.

Most of the implicated hosts are not generating income or are selling at a loss here... I'd guess they just want/need some legitimate customers so they look better. Even some nation-sponsored hosts where one would assume funding is not a problem, have historically sold to "normal" customers here.

Can confirm: @Kim-Yo-Jong, the nerdy computer scientist sister of Kim Jong Ho operates a nefarious LET front for all things evil. $7 of gasoline can bring you a long way on North Korean motorways.

  • I have two storage servers with them at the moment. One of them is quite bad: old cpu, low amount of RAM, slow disk and have random downtimes which I'm definitely not going to renew. The other 5TB all-rounder deal has actually been good for me but given HostSlick's status and reputation it's likely that if there's any problem at all then my files will be lost so I'm looking to get some deals this BF to replace this server.

  • I remember you and your storage servers.
We talked back then about it.
    What differs between them?
Which is slow which is fast?

The 3TB one has been a bit slow to me. It's still good for the price though!

Either max is busy or max just doesn't want to do business.

  • Just be patient. Maximilian will pop in any time soon, write a long post to shit on everyone and then be gone again for a couple of months.

  • I have 5 TB vps with hostsick, cant get 20 mbits speed at all, thats 20 mbits, not a typo. Worst hosting of all time for me.

  • ok we got updates! (or not). While I did get a reply on the same day, while it fixed a problem, it did not solve the initial one

Then silence until the third of December:
"sorry for recent delays, we are clearing out support backlog" (there shouldn't be one in the first place, but props for clearing it up)
"We will reply tomorrow once this is processed" (nope)

I really like the team and the service up to this point. Sadly it's now a LET server, not a production one.

    any other experiences?
