vpshostingservice.co is engaged in unfair behavior and refuses to refund money for poor service.

Yesterday, I ordered a VPS service for $1 (with a discount using promo code 1ALEB) from vpshostingservice.co. However, it turned out that the service was of poor quality, specifically, the speed didn't match the advertised one. My request for a refund was denied and the ticket was closed. I would like to warn others against purchasing their services.

I expected a fair policy, as well as the possibility of canceling the service.

Proof of these issues, screenshots, results of tests ?

You need to show some proof of issues, you contacted them to report issues and they either ignored or told you no refund and why

It hasn't even been 24 hours yet. First, they gave me a server with no internet at all, then they replaced it. This morning, I wrote to them about speed issues, and they replied that they would fix everything. "Just wait." This evening, I requested a refund, and they again replied, "Your speed has been affected," but nothing has changed. I insisted on a refund and posted the latest reply.

  • It's not about one dollar or even 11 dollars, but about honesty.

It is all about your expectations. $1/year and $11/year are significantly different. Also, I don't think it is a common practice to refund promotional packages. Maybe in China it is, but not at LET providers.

If it’s not about one dollar or even eleven, then be honest, why didn’t you buy a VPS for a hundred dollars if you expected that level of quality?

    Dishonest statement. Different context.

So you expect to solve all problems within 24 hours for $1 service? Your support tickets already cost them more that the yearly price of such VPS.

  • So, if the service costs $11 per year, then you can't expect it to fulfill its stated obligations? Well, let's say they claim the speed is 10-30 Mbps, and that's why it costs $1. And then they immediately write that even if they give you a server with no internet at all, complaints won't be accepted because the service is cheap. Of course, even a VPS like this is expensive for 50 cents.

  • If they'd just posted how their speed was going, there wouldn't have been any complaints. But paying $11 for something you can't even use properly is a lot.

  • They're scammers, I can't blame OP tbh

  • omg for $11 I will be lazy to create a thread here but this is me

  • I'm sure that even if I paid $80 for this service (without a discount), the situation would be the same (I don't really feel like checking now), since they use the same servers. Again, they don't need to advertise 1000 mbps speeds when in reality it's 10-30.

  • With a 99% discount i expect same service as without
Just make another service and explicitely say "worse internet, no refunds" etc

Some providers here make extra services and say "no refunds" or whatever
    And this is fine

A deep discount like that is a sign of shittery really. Their website also load slow af. Anyway if they're not providing what you paid for and won't refund, chargeback that shit and make them eat it. Drown all shithosts in chargebacks.

That won't happen quite literally in China as well. Just did it last night and they refunded me $0 for mid-term cancellation. I'm glad they did not charge me 200 more because their system calculated refunds based on list price not paid price (almost 10x difference)

  • I just bought one to see what the fuzz was about and I get between 300-700 Mbit/s upload and 150-500MBit/s download. It's not 1 Gbit/s but that's not to be expected when it says "shared" port, and considering the price I would not complain.

So, anyone want a vps? Bought it before even verifying that it supports ipv6 which it turns out it does not, I run everything on ipv6 so I have no use for it. It's prepaid for a year and I think the price is recurring.
