    A quick review after 1-2 hours of initial testing:

    The control panel is awesome.
    The firewall supports a single click to add Cloudflare IPs is more than awesome (haven't really confirmed that yet).
    2 vCPUs compiled snpguest (a Rust project) within 4 minutes is great. (Canonical's doc says it would take ~12 minutes)

    Some caveats when installing Debian official cloud image:

    • Remember to change the APT mirror to cdn-aws.deb.debian.org which uses AWS Cloudfront, because deb.debian.org which uses Fastly CDN which incorrectly routes their Anycast IPv6 to a Sao Paulo PoP (which is basically unusable) (The IP 2a04:4e42:200::644)
    • Use generic version rather than the genericcloud version, because it seems that Onidel's virtualisation requires some of the hardware drivers in the kernel removed in the genericcloud version

    Some caveats of AMD SEV-SNP:

    • It may not actually working, after enable and restart, I used snpguest ok to check but it returns [ FAIL ] - Error reading MSR: Failed to get bit values, Error Reading MSR
    • When AMD SEV-SNP enabled, reboot operation inside VM only shutdown but couldn't automatically boot back
    • OS is Debian 13 installed via official cloud image

    So I turned AMD SEV-SNP off.
