Onidel Singapore VPS benchmark and review
@Onidel was kind enough to give me access to one of their Singapore VPSs. Thank you, Onidel!
Now I can let the cat out of the bag. This not only is an interesting server but it's also part of a SGP shootout, and I can already tell you that this VPS is not the loser in the shootout ...
Side note, probably important for many: their panel is very rich in functionality and their support is really good and quite quick as well. An additional plus is that their support is to-the-point helpful, no boilerplate or bureaucracy blabla, just a helpful response right at the matter. Very nice.

Europe - this one always is difficult for me because to me (European) those numbers look so meager and low. But actually about or even a bit above 70 Mb/s to at least the major targets is quite good.
Asia / Oceania - India above 170 Mb/s, SGP almost 1 Gb/s which clearly hints to you not only getting "1 Gb/s connection" as a nice phrase but actually and physically. Me like.
HongKong about 350 Mb/s is nice, but 2 ou of 3 China (Mainland) target achieving about 100 Mb/s and one even 125 Mb/s almost feels like a miracle! So, if Mainland China is important to you, this VPS is the one to get! But Japan and Ozzyland also are quite good with about 120 Mb/s.
Impressive.
Africa - South Africa about 50 Mb/s is quite good.
America - here you Murricans can feel like I feel with Europe targets. Not exactly impressive, meeh. But well, this is a SGP VPS! So, low sixties to the West Coast it is.
TL;DR / Verdict: If you need really good connectiviy within Asia and Oceania along with a really well performing server this VPS is one of the best choices, albeit not exactly cheap. But then, what's cheap in Singapore?
