Haha, I just remembered my hosting with this VPS when I found my old tickets...
I bought it back in November 2023. Debian template didn't work. Tried AlmaLinux template and it worked. Reinstalled Debian template and it didn't work and then I was locked out of reinstalling again because of some limit in the control panel.
I contacted him via ticket explaining the issue and several days later he replied "can you try again in 15 minutes", but I missed that reply, and forgot about the server until about 8-9 months later.
I think at that point, I maybe managed to re-install Debian, but anyway asked to pay the annual renewal early as I'd be out of the country when the invoice was due. I guess I paid, and then forgot about the server on my return home as I don't appear to have ever tried to log on since.
So, I've actually paid two years of this and seemingly still never actually used it apart from re-installing multiple times.
36 days down for me also...tickets getting deleted and not answered...should be banned from LET like Calin...
So the customer support definitely needs some improvement.
I finally decided to send them a ticket anyway, just saying it'd been down for some time and couldn't be restarted from the control panel. There was no explanation, just "we've recreated it based on the specifications", without mentioning the incident or any concern or heads-up about whether I had lost any data or not (which I hadn't, but they didn't know that), just a freshly imaged VPS with a totally different IP address (even compared to what it told me earlier this morning before the ticket) and different operating system.
At least the ticket was answered quickly though.
Seems like the host conveniently ignored most tickets. Is it really difficult to just reply "we are working on it"? Is ignoring or deleting tickets more fun? Or we are witnessing the process of deadpooling?
I think it pointless to discus about it, since the owner doesn't give a shit, I will cancel today my services with him and move one. at this point even purpledaddy provides better service then him
My special priority ticket for Department 44 (LOL) was handled after 51 hours (while announcement said guaranteed 24 hours). My server was recreated, with the same IP. It pings. I will run YABS in a moment!1oneoeneO!n1onee.
If you sent ticket that to that special new department that it is "how" it was supposed to work - that one is only for recreation of
50servers that were on KVMNL44 (there is 44 in name of that department, at the end).How are you supposed to know that?
