If your fork is always updated to the original version then it's great, because I think fork doesn't automatically update to the original version so I'm afraid you will forget to update so I remind you.
There's no need to worry about that.
Please update your operating system to the latest version, Debian is version 13, Red Hat is version 10.
We are already working on templates and hope to have them pushed out in the next week or so.
Can you update to noVNC 1.6.0 now? I checked but still not updated to the latest version.
There is no need to worry about this.
Why do you keep asking them upgrading the deps?
That's usually the last thing for you to worry about unless there's a security fix or it directly impacts your usage.
You are right. Asking for unnecessary things.
the ocd is strong with this one
Debian 13, AlmaLinux 10, and RockyLinux 10 templates have been added! Sorry for the lateness regarding these, there were some issues that we were working through.
Fyi I have tested the Kansas network (KVM Premium M) to a few of my servers in the NYC/Ashburn area, and it is rock solid for that route.
still missing Oracle Linux 10
because it gives worse performance than the new version and the interface is also worse
This is a production environment and sometimes updating to the latest is actually a bad idea until it's thoroughly tested, notes have been made and it is safe to do so.
When making any changes... You also plan for a rollback.
It's not necessarily a huge deal but it is at the bottom of our priority list. There's barely a difference in the new noVNC versions.
I just got a C5F server at Johor, and so far the performance had been great for me, however I do have a concern over the ping difference on ipv4 and ipv6 for my server. When I ping my server using the ipv4 address the ping is within 40ms range, however when I ping using the v6 address the ping jump up to like 300-400, which is really odd. This also happens with the looking glass IP for testing at Johor too, is something going on with v6 networking?
Hi, could you please put in a ticket and provide us with MTRs (ideally bidirectional) taken when the problem is actively occurring? You can follow our guide here: https://docs.advinservers.com/troubleshooting/network
Finally grabbed one for Malaysia just before our national day
is there custom spec in johor?
@advinservers Hi, I've been waiting for 2 weeks and still no Oracle Linux 10 and noVNC 1.6.0
Whats so important in noVNC 1.6.0?
You can read the changelog of noVNC 1.5 and 1.6
I did hence was curious which piece of changelog is needed...
This is a non critical upgrade for almost all providers
Good luck
If this does not adversely affect the provider, this is not a reason to reject the update.
Well its not rejected.
Its just not high priority unless there's been an exploit patched.
Good luck
Malayisa 9950X is OOS. Totally satisfied with the 1vCPU plan and was planning to buy the 2vCPU one. Any ETA on restock?
Ticket opened, thank you for the guidance!
