    Hello guys,
first of all i like to mention, that SkyLink is a carrier-neutral datacenter.
We have now many clients who do their own routing. That means, if they have an issue in their network, it does not mean that whole SkyLink has same issues or is the reason for this issues.
No, we have no micro-timeouts in our network and other issues are not known.

For example, if a client rent a 10G transport between SkyLink and NIKHEF, then it might happen often, that this 10G are full and then you see such micro-timeouts.
Our own transit is working fine and covers also darkfiber-timeouts. Its not our problem if clients want safe money and trying to make their own cheap transit and wondering that such issues happen.
Please dont blame SkyLink about this, everyone can choose what he want.

So what you say is: @LiteServer @naranjatech @heartbeat_IT providers don't know how to manage their own network properly. And as Skylink have no fault with the micro stutters occurring?

  • What I say is, that its not SkyLink related and other clients in SkyLink dont have this issues.
How you think now about heartbeat, who manage their own network inside SkyLink, is up to you

To me, "Skylink" user comment sounds to way fishy, such expressions and behavior are not permissible for legal entities towards anyone, like a 8 year kid trying to say "it was him, who broke your bicycle".

It is important to formulate expressions correctly, especially when you are a legal entity or represent one.

Yeah not to mention the 10TB server request in 2019

Honestly, I don’t see anything “fishy” about SkyLink’s comment. It’s just a factual explanation

You have replied towards my comment. Claim? I stated the fact, while you speculations . Don't dig your own grave, just move on. Years will pass, and you will probably understand what i was meaning.

In any case, that's not what this is about, and it's not my style to get personal or try to teach someone. You've got your own mind, and i've got mine.

Gosh, boy, it's time to grow up. Your comments only reflect poorly on you and company. In any case, I wish you all the bes and i'm out of discussion. It's useless. @allthemtings and @lirrr pointed out correct things.

P.S And here i've gotten personal. I hope it will be easier for you to define words and understand their meanings now.

    Shit up & down today.
NAT storage server down whole night and most of the day today after migration finished.

I wish HB would have some ways of easily informing users what is happening.
Like a page where you can put status updates.

Even after the migration, I'm still observing packet loss (and indeed up and down like a yo-yo today). At this point, I'm seriously doubting whether it was Skylink's network after all.

  • Seems they are changing route/Transit. Yesterday a traceroute ended at network.zet

Today other providers are used. Really hope they can figure out whats wrong soon.

Do other providers in the Skylink have the same persistent issues? Like @QytraDE @HostSlick @24fire or @tubehosting (I don’t know more providers in this dc)? The last time I had a server there the network was still good

i forgot to reply but i wanted to confirm we do NOT have this kind of issue either.

We run a own network, have n*100G Uplinks, use Skylink Transit AND their Transport to NIKHEF which we are making BGP-mix with on our external upstreams. Capacity always available transit wise, stable. Nothing to complain about

    Probably issue on heartbeat side.

    have a nice evening.

    Route count seems low?

    bird> s r protocol SF_AS206075_v6 count
