HostHatch Zurich BGP session
Is anyone else experiencing issues with their BGP session in Zurich at the moment?
My session is established but I don't receive any routes from them and my prefixes aren't visible in the DFZ. This started about 3-4 weeks ago.
I've spend quite some time troubleshooting but couldn't find any issue on my end, so I'm wondering if anyone else is affected?
And yes, I have opened a ticket with them almost three weeks ago but the service affected is a Black Friday Special.

I had this issue in HH's Los Angeles location, it took like 2 months to get a reply and the issue fixed. Hopefully you're able to get help faster, but I presume it's something with their filters that doesn't announce your prefixes into the DFZ. Doubt there's anything you can do other than waiting, maybe a friendly poke on the ticket (but that may not help you either)
I would not bother with hosthatch anymore for production ready services. It was mostly fine for a year but then it started falling apart. If you are still there I would be looking for alternatives right away.
I had bgp in Tokyo and my prefix stopped getting announced. The owner basically said I wasn't paying him enough to deal with it. Then they silently removed datapacket in HK a week ago.
Against my better judgement, I asked for BGP setup in stockholm and the ticket went unresolved for 3 weeks.
On top of BGP falling apart, cpu steal was spiking up to >10% even with 2 dedicated cores and all the non-dedicated cores removed. They previously told me many years ago that the first vps I had with them only had cpu steal because the shared cores weren't removed.
I've talked about this host several times in the past and the owner loves to deny any issues and attack the person complaining.

And of course people always seem to listen to the host over the customers here and end up finding out the hard way that they should have heeded the warnings.
