Maintenance will occur in a few hours. Remote hands staff was unavailable to do it at the timeframe we expected in my last update. The emergency maintenance that was announced has not yet occurred.

Was told the remote hands staff will be available around 9:00 CEST, which is in 3 hours from now. I fell asleep before I could update the announcements.

    Hopefully this fixes the issue.

    hi sir pls check now

Maintenance complete. Don't want to jinx it just yet because it's only been less than 30 minutes.

Virtualizor will still show a maintenance mode message for just a bit until I am certain we're in the clear here. Will disable the maintenance mode soon.

Still some intermittent issues. Reviewing further. May not be impacting everyone, but some of our internal VMs in this POP are impacted (but not all).

  • @MannDude i noticed that dotst.st, dotgd.gd, dotgl.gl, dotvg.vg, dotfo.fo (dead), dotbh.bh all SSL expired 85-87 days ago. Wait, i just checked and all the domains uses NameCrane with a hostname of "lv-shared04.cpanelplatform.com". Just want to let you know

It's a bit sporadic. A replacement component is being shipped by the manufacturer to Amsterdam so hopefully it arrives in the next few days. Last maintenance helped some but didn't completely alleviate the problem.

I am really really sorry for all the inconvenience and issues faced. The last two weeks have been a nightmare from my side.

10-4. All were just random placeholder domains that I pointed to Namecrane since I had an account with them. Will check.

Can't speak for everyone since my NL hosting is not critical, but I really appreciate the consistent updates and transparency with the migration/repairs. Yes, downtime is annoying and can be a dealbreaker, but what you've done for your customers in these past few weeks demonstrates serious integrity that many providers simply don't have.

The portal's network alert links to the public announcement about this, and the announcement is the same URL as sent in emails previously.

    Issues persist.

But it was "fine" before 18:00 as you can see in the screenshot? Something happened?

    https://portal.incognet.io/announcements/19/Post-Migration-stability-issues-in-Amsterdam.html

Mondays maintenance helped some, not all. Fridays maintenance was bust, so previous state of "fine for some, not all" returned. There is no way I can define which users it works for and does not, all vlans and subnets and all traffic is handled the same. If it was fine for you after Monday until Friday, and not now, little I can do at this exact moment but a less satisfactory (for us) solution is about to be implemented which should work for you and everyone else.

I'm not our network and sysadmin guy on this so I'm purposely being vague because this is not my wheelhouse.

EDIT: Spelling (back at desk, fixed mobile errors)

Isn't this the kind of stability we all expect from a service costing more than AWS? 🤭 Premium prices, low end infra, but at least there's a "free speech allow" sticker on it so we're fine.

Look, no one is more upset by these issues than I am. No one has lost more sleep than I have.

Countless number of users from 2021 when we first started offering NL based VPSes who have never once opened a ticket are upset. We've had a ton of cancellations over this. Hardware, even brand new, can be problematic. Bench marking and tests prior to going live doesn't always reveal potential issues once live and out of the lab.

It's not something I've taken lightly.

We are working on it. All anyone can do is be patient, myself included, when some things can not be fixed on just hopes and wishes and dreams.

I'd say Wednesday is a good estimate for most to be fixed up. Then hopefully we can continue to operate for four more years or longer without any issues.

This entire ordeal has fucked my schedule of interviewing and on-boarding help, domain product related updates, and some other projects. It's costing me a ton of money and I'm afraid my thick luscious head of hair will start to thin any day now.

Yes, we're not a budget low end host catering to most of the LET audience, I get that. But this is hardly "normal" for us. The only thing negative we've really earned in the recent year or so is slow support response times, which is next on the chopping block after this Amsterdam stuff is finally fixed.

  • Sorry guys for interrupting the discussion, what services are affected by this problem?

  • is there a test ip or looking glass for the luxembourg vpn location? i cant seem to find it and want to see my latency
