Nearly all of the providers here are overselling, and somehow, it is overlooked. The providers are being racist towards Asian users in tickets. It is overlooked. It is a free for all, until someone pisses some people off...
Did it piss people off that people can offer truly unmterered 10GB/s serers for 175 USD? That they can basically make half the offers obsolete once the actual sales offers are posted? Does that bother some people? Seems like it might.
Allegedly, people flagged my 5x .RU and 5x .SU domain giveaway thread, yet both that, and my 1GB/s server giveaway thread got removed. No explanation. No message from any moderator. Just a silly childish warning.
But, we are cool with people being racist.... people overselling... not delivering... all sorts of things. Here is someone that delivers within minutes, and I get jerked around, supposedly, over not asking if I am allowed to give away some servers again, even though @FAT32 and @DP told me that it is fine, and why wouldn't it be? Am I making money? Am I scamming people? I am spending my own money, call it whatever you want, but I didn't do anything wrong, and I won't accept that I have.

While it doesn't rise to the level of a "crime", it was simply a violation of LowEndTalk's rule for giveaways.
I'm sorry, if the rules were unclear to you, you should have reached out to us for clarification before posting, instead of assuming everything was "kosher" just because one giveaway was previously "approved".
If you did, you wouldn't have belittled @angstrom, who volunteers his time and energy to moderate this forum.
As I have mentioned, this wasn't some "power trip", but he was just enforcing the rules, where it clearly mentions what's required, and what the outcome will be if they're not followed.

In general, if owning and selling the domain
dmcaignored.*is illegal, then by the same reasoning, owning and selling domains likecriminal.*,illegal.*etc. would also be considered illegal?Merely owning a domain name is not illegal, provided it does not infringe on trademarks, violate registrar terms or policies, used for fraud, phishing etc..
If none of these conditions are violated, the legality of the domain is determined by its usage - not by ownership alone.

The other one also looked like a giveaway thread, but it was posted in December 2024, roughly 5 hours after you joined the forum.
All in all, the reason why they were removed is still a no-brainer - it's all in the rules.
The warning included a message, "your latest giveaway wasn't approved".
Do you have evidence to back this up?
To be honest, the only giveaway @FAT32 and I "approved of", was your domain giveaway contest.
Even that, you posted it without reaching out to any of us for approval.
Just to be absolutely clear, what you mean is that @FAT32 and you hadn't approved the domain giveaway contest, correct?
