so now we have had a peak on the darker side of OP
Not exactly... There was shy discussion about rapeboards hosted on OPs network. "Freedom of speech" so to say. But that's another topic.
So you think you should be dealt with respect because you have done giveaways worth hundreds of thousands of dollars because the goodness of your heart? You are sour that it is not being recognized? That is all I can infer from this whiney-rant thread.
fucking sick.
Eh im not picking sides but i think OP is a decent person
Rules might have been broken but eh, just tell hin to ask for permission next time
No need for huge fuss
AFAIK they can't because it's been abused in the past. That being said, I find that rule a bit over the top too, still, it's a rule and the mods have at least the right, if not the obligation, to enforce it.
Plus, that rule has been around for nearly 4 years
But he made the fuss, wth?
Pffft, @angstrom is like a little innocent angel... you should consider yourself lucky @Not_Oles is no longer a mod. There you could have seen lack of minimal discern capacity.
have to admit i was a bit relieved when i noticed he didn't have a moderator tag anymore and i'm not really someone that interacts with mods.
Thread needs more llamas. 🦙
Mistral.
Are you implying "I saw @Andreix who I don't like bring arguments in a thread so I asked him for a two week vacation after giving several random warnings" are not good moderation practises?
More like "I saw someone actively stealing money from community with lies and shady activities and I choose to ban the one person that kept showing that fraud's true intentions, covering it up with an apparently polite silence request, so the fraud's activity could be forget more easily so he can peacefully renew his provider membership with us."
There. Fixed it for ya!
Wait this was over that gentle nudge from @angstrom on @Verasel's profile?
yeah
Because you know nothing. Not even the definition of "dirty money". How would I be able to engage in an intelligent conversation with someone li> @Astro said:
@Smith42 just so that nothing is taken out of context. There are young interns with decent ideas and there are those which will always end up being loss leaders for the entire said department, and will no doubt get sacked.
I could offer something like that for free for a month, or something like -- to sponsor a nice project... but realistically, do such type of deals seem sustaianble to you?! REALISTICALLY? It's just... ridiculous.
Yap yap, no answer. Just take a look at all the disgusting crap that you allow people to host on your network, look at me straight in the face and tell me that's not dirty money.

If you feel that something is illegal? If you think it shouldn't be online? Report it to [email protected], and CC the police. If you want to go the extra way, also make sure to call the police (POLITIE HQ) and inform them of the said IP and details.
Dirty money is a legal term, you dimwit. So, no, I clearly cannot engage in an intelligent conversation with you... e.g. if you have watched AMC's "Breaking Bad" series; they laundered money with those businesses from the money obtained from selling drugs.
Selling unmanaged dedicated servers to customers is not a crime, and therefore, those are not proceeds of a crime, unless proven in a court of law.
No; because I have never reneged on my word, and because I always keep my promises. It seems asinine to me to have to message a moderator each time you want to do a giveaway, and guess what that will end up causing? I will simply end up being occupied with something else, and not do it, because some of us do in fact do things in the moment... when we feel like it, and if it had anything to do with having any ulterior motives... Well, it would have been done differently, as some have stated.
The accusations of "dirty money", etc... meanwhile, 90% of the board uses torrent sites hosts at least 50% of the world's IPTV traffic is just.. ridiculous.
Bringing up fetish sites... equally ridiculous.
You have people overselling already oversold nodes, deadpooling, selling servers before they are even ordered or deployed, throttling bandwidth... and yes, the issue is, someone who didn't feel that what was was done made sense.
Sure, you could argue, like @FAT32 said, would give the bad picture, etc... yet, you have people stating "DMCA IGNORE" everywhere, all sorts... but, like I said... as far as I am considered, like Kansas have said... all it is is dust in the wind.
I personally couldn't care less at the end of the day when it comes to the giveaways, because this killed the spirit.
I am not being childish, I am simply being transparent. What was given away will be respected (as always). In future... if it happens so that I feel as so obliged to message a mod and ask him if I can go throw some money away. I will do so. Until then... I will find other uses for it... maybe create my own forum? Who knows. One that deals with scammers on the spot.
This. is. funny... worked out well for me in the past. I think I probably waited like 2 months, or something like that? No worries, though... let it stay buried, it's fine. I just find it funny that you would suggest opening a ticket... always works out well for the other person. It's like the epitome of saying accept it. Lol
So... why did you message a Telegram user named Kekistan asking for 32TB servers for 40 EUR? Haha.
Because no adult forum should have moderation Staff that interpretes every single rule in a literal sense. We are humans, we are not robots. There are situations where there is simply no need for people to waste time and wait for other people's response just to do a giveaway. Let's be reasonable here. It's childish.
You may call my reaction childish, and you are free to do so, but the people spewing nonsense, when half the LET is scamming its users, either overselling, or selling their data after deadpooling... but, we have bigger fish to fry. Go after the idiot giving things away.
Throw shit at him and try to see what sticks, basically.
I... just had to... I love @DP, but the irony here is... hahaha
okay no more fighting
any cheap deal exclusive for me pls? @Verasel
Diff is you asked what the LEGAL definition is. He never said ’this is legally dirty money’, he just said dirty money, so going by any other definition than dirty money doesn’t seem fair. Adding legal before it when he didn’t doesn’t seem fair.
Edit
Asked Claude without any such way to alter the response and the first sentence of its answer is:
“Dirty money” refers to funds obtained through illegal or unethical activities.
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X - 12 Cores @ 3800 MHz
128GB RAM
1TB SSD
1 month free.
I’m using the word as is, right off of the Cambridge and Oxford Dictionary, not out of ChatGPT like yours. 😭
You taunt offshore hosting as the main selling point, where it’s a known fact abuse requests get lost on the way. Your network is comprised of disgusting crap like rapeboard, and other things which you argue is not illegal under the law where it’s hosted, but are off course morally wrong. This is your main clientele for the type of service you offer, and if you still proudly say the giveaway prizes that come out of this is obtained morally, my bad. I apologize.
You are a real saint with no ego issues! 🥳
Both of which have to be proven in court, otherwise what it is other than someone's opinion? You tell me what laws I have broken by selling unmanaged dedicated servers, and cultivating a working relationship with LE over the years, without EVER hosting any malware, or having any malicious activity coming from the network. What that dude is saying is just poppycock. Literal poppycock.
Calling selling servers dirty money because something might be fetish oriented, or might, allegedly, infringe on someone's copyrights somewhere is just... poppycock.
