But DEALZ will come soon-ish, plus some upgrades to existing infrastructure.

something is very wrong with that cursed ah german server

I know beanman has issues with his stuff, but it has been running fine for my Borg backups at least. Depending on your intended usage, it might not be a problem.

I do not believe you have opened a ticket in regards to this abysmal performance. It does not sound like how it should perform. That would perhaps be the easiest solution first?:)
