My god dude, comedy writers would not be able to write something this funny
@MichaelCee I'd never sub-quote you sub-quoting you sub-quoting your sub-quote of you.
Do you understand that we* are not children and that bootlickers (and other people you probably invited to this thread) are not doing you any favors?
We = people reading this thread
I go out of my way to shit-post on the daily. How could you survive without it?
No one called you a child, regardless of the way you have been acting on this thread.
I respect everyone here, no one was asked to step into this thread and "bootlick" on my behalf. People are on this thread speaking out in my defense because I have built a great reputation on LET in the nearly 10 years of posting. I have ran and worked for reputable businesses for 11 years in this industry (longer than a lot of the hosts you see on this forum today). I would not have been able to achieve the success and reputation I have by being dishonest and treating people poorly.
I'm not going to ask the "bootlickers" to stop, the same why I am not going to ask you to stop posting, it does not bother me. Everyone can have their opinion at the end of the day.
I saw in this thread someone paid you crypto? If you are unhappy your data was provided to us, I will gladly delete everything we have off the systems. If you need anything from me or assistance you can reach me in DM's and I will gladly assist where I can.
Yes. Your friend donated to the Electronic Frontier Foundation on my request. No one payed me (and I never requested a refund, he offered)
I did say probably. I have no (major) issues with you or what you did. I do not think you acted maliciously. I think you saw an oppotrunity to profit and you took it (as almost everyone here would). My point is the people bashing EasyVM and defending you (some of whom are your irl friends) are doing you a lot more harm than what your actions did.
No matter what happens to the "unsustainable deals" that you took on from EasyVM, you will come out on top financially.
And that's fine, just say it like it is.
And now if you will excuse me, I have exhausted my daily allocation of rational posts and will now revert back to shitposting.
Preorders for my true african blockchain based summer host will start soon. Make sure you stay quite, high level and desirable for a chance to win BIG.
EasyVM deadpooling is 2025's biggest loss. I will miss their responsive support and cutting-edge network. The haters are just mad they weren't able to snag those $20 dedis....
Well for how much longer do you plan to enjoy those 20 bucks dedis?
think biggest 2025's loss @emgh gonna leave norway for a month and becomes a ladyboi, cannot beat that ngl.
it s correct
What? People who missed the $20 dedis are mad those who didn’t are now losing them? Please rethink
Updated the title to align with the actual story.
Thank you @DP , the updated title reflects the situation more accurately compared to the old title that was prone to misinterpretation.
Currently, I am still able to login to the EasyVM portal.
In general, when a company deadpools, what happens to the existing customers' data (e.g. email address, phone number) in the WHMCS?
Can it be assumed the data will be removed eventually or do we have to send in a request to EasyVM (or maybe PureVoltage?) to remove it?
Never mind about my previous post. I just read through the thread again and I saw Ian_Dot_Tech's comment which is adequate information for me.
While PureVoltage may remove your information, this does not guarantee EasyVM will remove it, nor does it provide any clarity to what they will do with your data going forward. I assume the LLC has legal requirements so may have to keep billing info, other stuff I'm not so sure.
thats what wrong has been done. They sold hardware with customer's data/files/databases/sites/email accounts which was residing in that hardware. How can someone say they bought hardware? (its ok if they bought empty disks and server)
FYI your DMARC policy is broken.
milter-reject for END-OF-MESSAGE. 5.7.1 rejected by DMARC policy for easyvm.net with invalid ARC result.
What a coincidence after 2 years of being subscribed to them, I recently left EasyVM last january since I didnt need the VPS anymore then a month later they deadpool. Wow. Goodbye EasyVM/Central.so
Should have kept your VPS, they'd still be in business.
tsk tsk tsk
/s
Sorry for the bump but I assume this might be interesting to the remaining EasyVM customers since they didn't really send out an email (at least for me, and a few others I've seen reporting in their Discord)

As I figured out, recurring deals will not be honored (only the remaining of the billing cycle), and will all convert to a monthly billing cycle, great!
from summerhost to summerhost
circle of life
ouch, but realistically, was it ridiculous deals that led to easyvm going under? (i honestly don't recall)
Their $15/yr VPSs were sustainable, or that's what aqua said in the BF thread
100 Mbps...?
https://aquatis.host/kvm-hosting/
Probably a lot of the plans were Black Friday deals... so having a new provider to ride out the last 6 months until renewal isn't so bad (compared to just losing everything)
Imagine having an unencrypted backup of personal files and then reading this hahahah
