$7 VPSs are the best for VPNs
i heard colocrossing has good privacy
AirVPN, got 3 years plan for cheap on black friday, support port forwarding for torrent. I have windscribe before but decide to switch to this. After a while, windscribe call who seed torrent is hosting, not personal use, and can be banned if seeding too much, I feel my switch is lucky. I was seed tens of TB data with AirVPN without any problem. But AirVPN have another side, it easily facing captcha on some site, if you don't like it, you can use Proton VPN which look like better for both torrent and surfing, but more expensive.
There is no such thing as no logs.
There is 0 privacy with vpn's, most resell your data or are honeypots by f3ds.
I am using Windscribe (aff / non-aff) for like two months and I really like it, you can have 10GB if I remember correct to test the VPN in the free plan.
I use Tailscale a lot so I use the Mullvad addon for Tailscale since it's easier to use Mulllvad servers as Tailscale exit nodes than trying to use a regular VPN at the same time as Tailscale.
selfhosted and torguard
ExpressVPN
NordVPN
For just privacy I would go with free wireguard from protonmail (cause no logs and open source)
For private calls I use only my servers as vpn,
For something else”, Celo.net
cloudflare warp with wireguard over xray
I like AirVPN for a traditional VPN. I got it in 2024 and have it until 2027.
But if you're just browsing and need a proxy, I usually use Tor Browser if I can or Opera as a dedicated "VPN" (really proxy) browser if Tor doesn't work while using Firefox for "normal" stuff.
I use Surfshark, they have a no-logs policy
